back with a vengeance. i graduated college last may (a B.A. in english) and i just decided to go back to get certified to teach english in high school. i work as a projectionist, go to school, and substitute teach these days. life's actually pretty rad right now.
i basically suck. i'm so busy these days i have literally no time for SG anymore,

how's it going? yes, it's been a while. sorry for the radio silence, but i've been busy the past...4 months. in addition to graduating from college, i covered all 3 days of lollapalooza (damn pale irish skin), went to a number of other shows (311, for example), worked a shitload at the part-time soulsucker, grilled like there was no tomorrow (is there?), caught up on some much-needed sleep, and was sober approximately 36 hours of the entire summer.
went to rilo kiley at the riv last weekend....pretty crowded.
going to a cubs game this weekend, then maybe peter bjorn and john as well as the good life next week.
now, how's by you?

friends, life is a funny thing.
monday i had to go to the dentist to have two crowns put in. i mean it sucked, but it wasn't too bad. but who likes going to the dentist. right now i've got two temporary crowns aching in my mouth, and i have to go back to the dentist in two weeks to get the permanent ones put in. fun.
BUT. tomorrow i get to interview a little band you may have heard of: the faint. FUCK YES.
