I'm dying of lung cancer now - it's just a matter of time, and not very much at that.

I have lung cancer. It is very extensive. And may not be operable. I may need radiation or chemotherapy.
I need a pet scan to see if it has spread to other parts of my body - it is already in my trachea.

A chest x ray revealed that I have a 3 x 4 inch mass on my upper right lung. That's larger than most cell phones. And it's why I've been losing so much weight. I'm down to a 125 lbs. And I'm about 5' 10" tall. I have to get a cat scan on Wednesday January 16. And then I have to see a pulmonologist. It may actually take a biopsy, I'm thinking ,do determine for sure whether it's benign or not.

If I had it in my power, this is what I would give
To you the one that I love and everyone in this benighted World

Note: I know this may be rushing it a little but I haven't put a poem
up in such a long time and this is what I wanted to put up. And
anyway, I think this poem transcends Christmas.

I have KING OF KINGS on tv right now(on TCM). I joined it in time to hear the SERMON ON THE MOUNT. That is one of the most beautiful, inspiring things ever written. And whoever wrote it was truly inspired - by some one or thing. There was a show on tv once about - who wrote the bible that I didn't watch. I have been told that THE GOSPEL was repeated and passed from one person to another by word of mouth. But you know how things get mangled and distorted that way.
Any way THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT is one of the most beautful - and true -
things ever. If not also so difficult to emulate and put into personal practice.
I still get very emotional everytime I hear it.
Any way I just thought I'd share this with you peeps - peep! peep!

Why do some people who are supposed to hate violence and cruelty so much LOVE to watch extremely, LOVINGLY violent movies, tv and video games - and listen to violent or hateful music? It pervades our media, even our literature.

So, I have an HD TV!!! I've had an Hd TV for at least a couple years now.
You haven't lived until you've seen The Rose Parade in high def.
I have it saved on my HD DVR. So I can watch it any time I want to. And fireworks: they're stunning in high def.
