Holy shit it's been a long time... It's amazing how your life goes straight down the toilet when you're sick for 6 months. What's worse is that even 6 months after you get healthy again there's still lingering after effects.

On the plus side I've been better for 6 months so fuck it, I can deal with the after effects. On the negative side I'm still painfully single but that's nothing new.

I am also planning a dinner in December sometime where every single dish in a 4 course meal must have alcohol of some kind in it and the same alcohol can't be used twice. It should be fun. Here's the current menu line-up:

Appetizer: Poached Pears with a Basil Goat Cheese and Pine Nut Stuffing
Salad - Mixed Green Salad with an Orange Ginger Champagne Vinagrette
Entree - Spice Rubbed Pork Tenderloin with a Cherry Port Reduction
Veggie - TBD
Starch - TBD
Dessert - Some Variation on Rice Pudding and Some Variation on Bread Pudding (I think)

Anyway, just dropping in to say hi to anyone and everyone. I'll be back a bit more often hopefully.

Rarely do I post something on any of my blogs but tonight is one of the few times I make an exception. I'm not sure how many of you are football fans out there, or how many are Giants fans but I for one have ALWAYS have been and ALWAYS will be. This season had a lot of ups and downs for the Giants but they powered through against teams that should have crushed them (luckily stats only matter off the field). With an amazing away game streak that took them through the post season all the way through the Super Bowl, the Giants did the one thing NO ONE else could, they beat the (almost) undefeated Patriots. And best of all, every one of the Patriots "fans" that jumped on the bandwagon got what they deserved! They will never feel this kind of joy from a sports game in thier lives, they let go of thier loyalties and will never live it down! I love my NY Giants!

My year is starting off great!

Well its been a while, not sure if anyone actually reads this but meh its something to do while the clothes dry, anyway I'm closing in on the day I get my motorcycle, I cant wait. Its a Victory 8-Ball or a Victory Hammer, still havent done the test drive yet but im getting there. Talk about beautifull machines, these two take the cake. As soon as my bonus comes through and my time off is approved I will not return to my house till I have to. Thats about all there is for now, after my promotion came through in march i havent had the time to post much anywhere and now this week is my first inventory at the new store. Can't wait for it to be over so I can get myself back to the #1 Store in the Region (out of 118 not bad) its happened before but Im to caught up with inventory to care about most anything else. Well thats all for now......

The true meaning of hell - Working in a video game store the weekend before X-Mass and being out of PS2, DS and XBox systems yet having every damn game for all 3 (including the evil and demented Britneys Dance Beat) why is it so very hard for manufacturers of systems to correctly estimate the volume of sales they will have on christmass the formula goes a shit-ton of people shopping for the systems = a shit-ton of systems needed for the shit-ton of people (ITS FUCKING EASY!!!!!!) but on a good note my DM has kinda helped me get my foot in the door to move up from ASM to full Store manager soon.

Well the momentous first entry....... ok so not tooooo momentous just kinda momentous. well for all you out there who are interested in knowing what i know (which could be very little or quite a bit Im not too clear on which it is myself) here is where im at in life right now.....

23 single male with 2 degrees (B.S. Food Service Managment and an A.S. Baking and Pastry Arts)who was a chef now is an assistant manager at a Babbage's/Game Stop and really hating retail during the X-mass season but loving the fact that all i do is talk about videogames all the time. and im kinda writing a book but not really its kinda been on the back burner for a few months due to severe writers block but otherwise its comming along nicely.

Kinda tired of being single i miss having someone around besides the core group of friends. ok really missing that female companionship that i currently lack.

Otherwise loving life except for the fact (and this I tell you is the real travesty in my life) that i have absolutely no time to play all the games that have stacked up on my desk since i started working at the game store i think im up to 10 unplayed games.

As far as today went, long day at work lots of nut jobs in the store today but then again some may consider me a nutjob so whatever, went to a couple of parties one for a friend of the family who is about to have surgery and one where for some reason out of the blue a bunch of racist drama crap sprung up out of nowhere and soured the whole damn party but other than that a good day and tomorrow will be spent putting up the lights on the house that will be a good day and for now that is about it.

oh and im tired very very tired. so thats it for the first update/ entry Yippy!!!!!!
