well i have been back in LA for almost 3 months. all is going ok at work just wish i had a little more creative freedom. which i am told will come. I did finish writing the valentines day menu for Dita Von Teese this morning. that should be a fun week. just wish i had more time to meet new friends out here, since most of my friends have either mover, or have families now.
in other news one of my chef friends out here made a pass at me and i'm not sure how to take it. L et me start by saying I had a total crush on her when we met six years ago. we have known each other for years but mostly a professional relationship. since i have moved back we ran into each other while she was at a event at my restaurant. since then we have been hanging out more socially. the other night we were out she got up to head to the WC, and when she got back she kissed me and asked if i was seeing anyone.
now i told her i had a girlfriend back in NC. but was not sure where the relationship was going. she then informed me that she has a boyfriend, who also does not live in the local area. and she prefaced this by saying she is not a cheat and is not usually so forward, but she was taken-back by me. i told her that i respected her and understood how she was feeling.
I am really into this woman, but don't want to fuck things up. i value her friendship and he skills professionally way to much. what should i do?
also if anyone in LA reads this and wants to hang out hit me up. im always willing to brave the outdoors or seek out great food. if i have the time off that is.

So my new year resolution is to learn how to actually put to use a squire strat I bought a few Yeats ago. I have had several lessons before but never stuck to it. I had trouble seting aside the time everyday to hone skills. So hopefully with the help of rocksmith, I wont have a problem being entertained for 90 or so minutes a day.

so im trying to figure out how i can become the offocial chef for suicide girls. any ideas 
So I’m laying in bed at a posh resort in West Virginia of all places. I just spent half the day driving and the rest in various interviews. It’s snowing and the local rivers are flooded. Tomorrow I have more interviews in the am, and have to cook 3 courses for a panel of chefs. After which I have a five hour drive home, and as good as this opportunity is, I still find myself questioning. Why the fuck would I want to move to the middle of BFE West Virginia? Oh well it is what it is if it’s meant to be it will be
