Little Geordie (he stands over 6'4") has a special place in my heart. When his mom and dad broke up while she was pregnant for the little tyke, she came to live with me, and I got to be his surrogate dad for a couple of years. We had great fun hunting brontosaurs (I know--supposed to be apatosaurs) and T-Rexes in the cornfields behind the house, and watched Star Wars movies by the hour. No wonder he turned out to be a genius!

I have a friend who is very in to all sorts of music. She's about 10 years younger than me, if not a bit more. As I recall, she thinks anyone that doesn't wear earplugs when there is loud music is an idiot.
When things are going badly wrong, I do tend to bring the work home with me a bit. But on the whole, yeah, these days I try to leave work where it belongs. It's a recent innovation for me, so I guess I'm still getting used to it. I'm hopeful the novelty won't wear off.
