Friday night, muffin tried attacking the raccoon through the kitty door. i had to pull him back through it twice and finally locked it. raccoons are so cute, but they don't belong in the city. Winter Hawks beat Calgary.
Saturday, mowed my lawn. pruned my honeysuckle and camelia bush and ran the clippings through the shredder. put out bird food. finally got back into BGII:ToB. hadn't finished it from several months ago. Winter Hawks lost to Spokane.
Today, lazy day. lots of birds hanging out in the yard. unfortunately, Casper was hanging out in a bird feeder under one of the hazelnut trees. a squirrel was in that tree and later was stealing sunflowerseeds from a different feeder. a friend is having me over this evening for homemade borsch and to listen to the Winter Hawks play Tri-Cities. and i'll get to see my godcat. she's so adorable.
