i've been in a bunch. i seem to run into a lot of shady people. most of the time they're punch ups at bars or punk rock shows where people have been drinking. i haven't been in any since i've started training in BJJ, but a lot of the moves are pretty practical. especially, the stuff you learn about takedowns and position.
there was this one time i was punching some kid and i don't know if he went down to turtle up defensively or if i just hit him hard and he started tolose consciousness. i was gonna grab his head for a muay thai style knee to the face, but people separated us.
another time one gangsta type guy who was on speed was at a bar and he tried to start with my friends and me. my friend started throwing punches with him, and i tried to move in but the guy was really smart and kept circling my buddy to move away from me. i got 2 hits in, but it was broken up.
Well I wish that were true
