I am currently huddled on my bed, avoiding leaving the soft safety of it...because I am a danger to myself.
I started my first semester of college yesterday. One class to settle in the first day. Everything went great, got there early, found a good parking spot, found my (soicology) class easily, love my professor, quickly purchased my parking permit and one of the books I need (2 of the others are HORRIBLY expensive, even used) and made my way home. Today was a whole different story. My English class didn't start til noon, but I still left the house at 10:30 to get there with plenty of time to find parking and the class. Class was easy enough to find...after I had a severe panic attack because I searched for at least 45 minutes for a damn parking spot (of the probably...7 parking lots they have) and ended up parking in a fire lane (like many others had). And Sacramento has been experiencing some WONDERFUL storms, so in the 15 minutes it took me to walk to class (which I got to with maybe 3 minutes to spare), I got SOAKED from head to foot, my ass was dripping..and converse suck in this weather, English was fine...then I had to wait 2 and a half hours for my next class (in that time I moved my car to an actual spot), which was right by my first. One cigarette was not enough in the time I had to wait..outside.
Tomorrow will be interesting. I have Sociology at 9 am again, so I'll be getting there early. But I have only one more class tomorrow at it isn't until 7 pm (psychology) and it doesn't get out until 10:05. I'll be heading home in the large time span between classes, just to see Corey for a little while.
I'm still searching for a job, and crying as my bank account dwindles because of book fees. Some of those books, even used, are just horribly priced. Luckily I have only 4 classes. And it may drop to 3 if they decide not to let me stay in my math class.
No classes on friday, which works out perfectly for me this week because.....
MY SECOND SET GOES INTO MEMBER REVIEW! At 12:29pm, which happens to be the same time as Sinaminn's set...so, give both of us love! I'm really excited for Waking the Dead, I think it'll get a great response. But we'll see. I'm sure to be on ALL day checking everything.
