Yeah, it's been forever since my last blog. Where to begin???
It's hot as hell here in PA! What makes it even worse is that my baseball season still isn't over. Like a fool I decided to coach our 9 year old boys All-Star team, but we should be done our tournament by the end of the weekend so I'll be able to relax for a month until Fall Ball starts.
Tomorrow my fiance and I are going to be looking at a few houses, something I wanted to do with my daughter, but she'll be at her reading camp. I figure that old people are suckers for a young family, however it works out well because now we can use the fact that my fiance is pregnant to our advantage. We've held off on telling my daughter because we still haven't seen the doctor (we will see him tomorrow night though) and we want to make sure that everything is in the right place. No point in getting her hopes up, only to have her share in the misery if something were to go wrong. Granted there's never a guaruntee that everything will work out as planned, but I'm sure that you all understand.
As far as the houses go, looking for one is stressful as hell, especially when you're limited to a certain area. We have certain things that we want in a house (garage, basement, 2 stories, ect.) and houses that meet those wants are scarce in this particular area. One of the houses we're looking at is a house that we've had our eye on for a few months now and for me it's the perfect house and we won't have to deal with having asshole neighbors. The other is a house that we know will need a ton of work and it's directly across the street from the local high school, which will be a pain in the ass when trying to get out of the driveway for work in the morning. Not to mention the added noise during sporting events and just the overall added traffic we'll have to contend with.
Oh well, wish me luck!
