I love music. It's rare that I do not have some form of it blasting through my home stereo system, laptop, or headphones.. and usually, only then, because I am doing something else requiring my hearing.
So... how better to write my first blog than to throw in a music video of something I'm currently listening to?
Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails is easily the most influential artist that has had an impact on my own life. Dave Grohl (Of Nirvana, Foo Fighters, NIN's With Teeth Album's Drums) has said, "I think it's safe to say that he is my generation's most talented musician-producer-songwriter", and I am not one to disagree. Recently, he has moved into the movie industry, producing some killer scores. The introduction to "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" was basically an awesome music video for the following song, which contains the work of Atticus Ross, as well as the vocals from Karen O, the singer of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
I hope, if anyone ever reads this, they listen and enjoy.
