Gone but not Dead
Currently listening to CAGE THE ELEPHANT
I've been gone for a while, I was a little lost. Not literally, but none the less lost. I took the time to self reflect, something very necessary specially because the big 25 is only a few weeks away.
The good thing is that I dont have anything bad to report, and only a few good things. I got a promotion at work, which is a huge deal, I am officially just a few steps away from being the shot-caller, but fortunately I now have the privilage to officially boss people around, a good start to running a kitchen. BOSS!
Lets just say that work is good, I am making the chedda!
I went to the movies after a much needed visit to Amoeba Hollywood (where I purchased the amazingness that is the Cage the Elephant album) and I watched Ruby Sparks. I LOVED IT! I have the biggest crush on Paul Dano, he is defenately on the list! If you dont know who that is you must watch: Taking Lives, little miss sunshine, Gigantic, and the Extra Man. Cool films.
Aside from the occasional alchoholic drink, and chocolate bar everyting was a bit stagnant, boring, and numb. This is what brought my dissapearance and reflection. I paid a visit to Barnes&Noble and purchased a cook book and journal. Tomorrow morning I have to force a change, this stagnant life style is not my cup of tea. So the few changes: Meditation, I dont do it and now I will. Cooking, I dont do it at home a lot, so that is going to change. Work-out, it will get sweaty. I'll get the ball started, i'll keep my fingers crossed for it to keep rolling.
