So I just rejoined the SG site after many a year away. A lot has changed in 3 years. Wow. I'm married now, no longer in Kansas City. I'm actually in Denver. Its awesome having the mountains right there, and a thriving city to do stuff in.

I'm actually seeing someone. She's gorgeous, funny and smart. Whoa!Did I save a few babies from burning buildings and not realize it?

Just posted up a new picture I did. John Ashcroft scares the hell out of me. Damn, I still can't believe that anyone would think he'd be good for the country after we in Missouri voted for a dead man over him!

I've got songs by "The Fixx" running through my head. Kinda cool, but I wish I could just go to sleep instead. frown

Been playing a lot of Colin MacRae's Rally 3 lately, as well as GTA: Vice City. Gives me an idea. I want a video game that combines the 2. Used to play Carmageddeon alot, and that was cool. I'd like to see a Death Rally game. Cross country racing where the pedestrians and other drivers count for points. Weapons and car upgrades along the way, great music. Yeah.

And (blah) another (blah) long night at (blah) work.
I did go see X2 and Matrix Reloaded yesterday. I must say, I'm a little upset by the Matrix. I liked it, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't touch the first. Ah well, it was a great day off yesterday.

I really just don't think about updating here. I've got my LiveJournal, and I personally know half the people on my Friend's List there so its the journal I think of.

Just realized tonight how much closer I am in general to my secondary family than I am to my real family. My best friend and his wife gave birth 2 years ago to my godson, and I love that kid to death. Realized recently just how much he loves me back too. Then, every major holiday I go spend with them and J's mom, they welcome me in just like I'm one of them. Wow.
In my own family, I'm close to my mom, but that's it. I'm going to get together with her next weekend, once I get paid and can take her out for Mom's day. My dad can pretty much take a flying leap, and though I love my brothers, I'm just not real close to any of them.
Today was nice, J's whole family was there (other than his dad, who moved away long ago) and I got to take pictures of the whole troupe. The little ones kept toying with the idea of being in the picture, not being in the picture. I felt real comfortable. Nice change of pace for me.

I like the surroundings. From the girls to the articles, this seems very much like a Playboy for the 21st century. Perhaps I'll stick around for awhile.
