Thousands of people know me as their astrologer. In my secret life, I am an intimate photographer and writer of personal expose`s. I feel that every photograph is a self portrait. Every image is the expression of something that has entered my mind to be interpreted or explored. I don't really photograph you - I photograph how I see you and how I feel about you.. If you are then wondering how it is you are revealed in such taunting, painfully rich shades of your own beauty and self-obsession, it's because that is how I feel about you.
Desire is one of the most under-rated emotions. In postmodern existence, desire and fulfillment have nothing to do with one another. Desire exists as a natural force for its own sake, there to be explored, developed, felt, shared, and transformed into awareness. Photography excels at one thing, which is getting us into that heightened state of awareness that is desire.
I live in a small town in upstate New York a little north of the city. I have lived around the United States and across western Europe. Now I've chosen to be in a small place because the energy is geared down and I find it easier to hold my own interior space, which is where I create from. I love my work and the atmosphere that I create around it. My studio is a place that is designed to facilitate self-inquiry and a feeling of one's own beauty. It is a place to unabashedly express one's own beauty. There is a strange silence and sense of being displaced, like you found yourself waking up one day in a science fiction scenario that is written about your own inner life.
