Hawaii in 2.5 days. Seriously cannot wait. I also secretly wish that the zombie apocalypse happens just as I arrive on Maui or the big island and magically around 100 SGs and friends from here get on a plane to join me. Oddly specific? Yes. Still, a guy can dream.

I plan on taking a metric fuck-ton of photos (macros of every damned thing I see), and maybe some underwater photos. I might even be able to put my scuba certification to use! The times I have actually used it were in water that actually still had ice over it in a glacial lake. I once saw a fish. True story.
I am told that scuba without hypothermia is actually *better* than my dives have been. I dunno...losing feeling in under a minute was pretty exciting...we'll see...


Tomorrow is the last day of work before I find out (hopefully) if the project I have been on for 2 years is accepted by Microsoft and Sony - it that happens (ohpleaseohplease) I will be toasting with the bottles of spiced rum/whiskey/vodka that I have been strategically placing beside my desk for 2 months. I don't give a shit what time that happens. First project that was accepted (5 years ago) happened at 930am. I drank then too.

And...that is enough randomness for now.
