Reserved a flat yesterday. Am now £500 poorer and starting to think about what options to chose.
Should be good though, top floor, 2 bedroom apartment with a parking space, good access to the motorways and close to my Daughter.

Been a while since my last blog so here goes.
The "Ex" is still fucking with my mind, really not good. Sometimes I would take her back in a heartbeat, but then others I find myself thinking that I wish I could just cut her out of my life altogether.
I'm looking at buying a house, how grown up is that? Mortgages and the such, feeling kinda adult.
The Beetle's been sold to a nice guy from Manchester, he's promised to send me some pics of the finished article.
Work's just the same, doing too much for people who really don't deserve anything at all.

I hate snow, but I also love it.
It reminds me of my younger days, throwing snowballs and messing about with friends.
Now it just causes me problems, making it near impossible to drive anywhere, making me colder than I want to be.
We British don't do snow, we don't know how to deal with it or drive in it. We get an inch on the floor and the country grinds to a halt.
But it looks pretty.

Why does "God" conspire against me.
The one day I was really looking forward to before the dreaded Xmas day, the fecker makes it snow and stops me leaving the house!
A day I would have spent with my beautiful daughter in Leeds is now ruined cos I can't get out of my street (1/4 of a mile long, 30 degree slope, 3 inches of snow).
The ex will probably think I'm not bothered or something, probably thinks I want to get out of spending time with my daughter. She'll have the hump with me when I see her again.

Bradford council should be ashamed. They have a duty to the residents to clear the roads of snow, not to mention the contract worth millions with the bus companies to do it.
Last night I was just just dropping off to sleep on the sofa when my phone rang.
"Gra, it's your Mum, your Brothers had an accident and pranged the car"
"Right, I'll have a quick coffee and set off"
40 minutes later I'm looking down this steep hill, Bank it's called, and my brother's halfway down on the pavement on the wrong side of the road. He'd managed to avoid hitting a bus and an Audi TT which had collided with each other. He slid straight off the road, mounted the kerb, hit some guys gate post, missed hitting a telegraph pole and come to rest about 2 feet from the road again.
While I was stood there helping him move his car I saw at least a dozen cars and vans attempt to go either up or down this hill (at least 45 degrees slope) with varying levels of success. 1 car came down the hill nearly sideways.
We decided to abandon the car and go back to it today, fingers crossed none of the pond scum around the area have relieved it of wheels.
Main thing is my Bro's fine.

The guy's at work are telling me I should be out "having fun" and getting what I can. But you know what, I'm not sure. I still love her, I mean who wouldn't?

I can't get my head around what I'm feeling, and that's after 5 months apart. It doesn't help that I see her on a regular basis. It's either that or cut my daughter out of my life. That ain't happening!

With a little help from my Dad I took pictures of my '74 1300 Beetle. I don't want to sell her but the ex wants the space in her garage back.
By all accounts to say she's been stood for 6 years, she's pretty solid with mainly cosmetic work needed.

God I feel old. Went into Leeds last nite for a few drinks with friends and ended up wanting to ID all the drinkers.
Was it cos they looked too young to drink, or was it to check that I wasn't doing anything wrong in my head?
