The past haunts us and lingers. It clouds the mind and obscures logic only showing us the path of the most enjoyment and smiles. The bad, no that's not right. The solvable problems that once looked insurmountable are ghosted by the intense joy of those times when everything flowed and went 'right'. Does a man ignore those issues and live specifically in the moment? Should reason be pushed aside in pursuit of passion? A visit to the past reveals the persistence of love but should it be taken as solid? Something to be stood upon and used as a foundation? Passion threatens the complacent. I read that somewhere. It seems to be welded to my thoughts for the the time being.
