Behind which mask now you will hide
To keep this horrid world at bay
Within your mind you now must stay

Just smile for the camera now
don't be shy
You can't let them see that
you wanna cry
Cause your so happy
all is great
But deep inside
this world you hate

Maybe let them in on who you are
Show every beating every scar
Open up to who you have found
Yet fearing everone around

These masks our guard from pain and fears
They shut us in for years and years
For who we are will never show
Souls then die instead of grow...

Hey whats up to whoever may be reading this random bit of my life. Anyway... im getting my new computer in the mail any day now so i will be on here more often. i do lots of writing which may be obvious to anyone who has read through my profile so i believe i will be posting a bunch of my poems over the next however long. im open to any questions anyone may have about any of them and stuff. they were all written in hopes of one day being put to music and recorded as songs so yeah... more to come soon
