so i started looking for a job again. i forgot how boring and fruitless job searches are. constantly sending out resumes, only to find that the position has already been filled, or that i don't meet the qualifications.
although i am kind of stuck right now....i'm too poor to move out and i have debt, so i have to get a job here in jersey for a while so i can save some money. i can't really join a band in new york yet, because then i'd have to start commuting for rehearsal, and i really don't want to start doing that again.
i'm really missing being in a band. i still manage to listen to music nearly all the time, but i feel kind of empty when i do. i'm 26 years old, and time for me is running out. i don't want to end up being some 36 year old guy, overweight, still trying to make it in a band. all the while, not realizing that the band i'm in sucks. craigslist is full of those types of people, and that is one of my worst fears. i've still got enough in me for one more shot at trying to tour europe before i die. all i can really do is just keep pushing, no matter how rough it gets.

what a terrible weekend!
there was a really bad snow storm on friday night. i had been feeling kinda bummed out about the whole band situation, and i really needed a night to go out and forget about things. well, nothing was going on, and my plans to go to new york were cancelled cause of the weather. so i spent the night watching tv at my friends' place, hanging out with two couples. so depressing and lame.
i went to baltimore for st patrick's day, and while i may have had a pretty good time, i woke up today feeling like shit and it took us 4 hours to get home. i've been sitting at home, staring at the tv all day today. i have to get a job cause sitting around here not doing anything really isn't good for me.
