The funniest thing happened today. I was walking around my apartment naked and I walked over to my kitty, stretched my arms into the air and did a silly little pseudo-bellydance for her. Then she rolled onto her back and mimicked me by stretching her forepaws above her head and wiggling her belly area. It was so bizarre.

I just really listened to Prince for the first time today. He's a pretty good. So much so he's getting added to my list of favorite bands. The album was Parade and my favorite song was "New Position". I always thought I might like his music as he's a fellow gemini and he seems to have just about as short a musical attention span as I do.
I like almost any music in limited doses but if it ends up being predictable enough that I can tell where it's gonna go I usually get sick of it.
It's hard to believe I used to be in a pop punk band. That was nine years ago but still . . . The Virgin Boy Wonders, we sounded like a cross between Green Day and the Descendents. I wrote songs about having crushes on cheerleaders and being ugly social retarded teenage super heroes. Yeah well I was in high school so what else was I gonna right songs about?

I've never done one of these before. Hmm where to start . . . well I have my first out of town DJ gig next month. In Manhattan none the less so that's kind of exciting.
Today was the 1st really hot day of the year up here. I can't decide if I like heat or not. Sometimes I get a headache from it but it also puts me in a lazy quasi dreamilike state.
It was kind of funny though my kitty, Beastie, just layed about all day long instead of acting like her usual vivacious self.
