Ok kiddies, I have two weeks off so I'm hittin'm the road. Going to la la land to see some friends for new years and then to to naw'lens for my birfday.
I have a feeling that 2005 will be better than 2004, at the very least because we can't re-elect Bush again.
My new year's resolutions:
1. Be more judgemental. form opinions of people right away and never change them.
2. Get my "Britney 4Eva!" tattoo removed. Possibly replace it with "Hillary Duff Has The Stuff!" tattoo.
3. Reunite N'Sync. Because we need them now more than ever.
4. Patch things up with Olivia Newton John. I really miss the days when we used to dance and sing with our friends back at Rydell High.
5. Lather, rinse and REPEAT! Sometimes you just gotta say "what the fuck?"
Happy New Year everybody. Thanks for making me feel so welcome here.
All aboard!!!
Grab your ticket and your suitcase
Thunder's rolling down the tracks
You don't know where you're goin'
But you know you won't be back
Darlin' if you're weary
Lay your head upon my chest
We'll take what we can carry
And we'll leave the rest
Big Wheels rolling through fields
Where sunlight streams
Meet me in a land of hope and dreams
I will provide for you
And I'll stand by your side
You'll need a good companion for
This part of the ride
Leave behind your sorrows
Let this day be the last
Tomorrow there'll be sunshine
And all this darkness past
Big wheels roll through fields
Where sunlight streams
Meet me in a land of hope and dreams
This train
Carries saints and sinners
This train
Carries losers and winners
This Train
Carries whores and gamblers
This Train
Carries lost souls
This Train
Dreams will not be thwarted
This Train
Faith will be rewarded
This Train
Hear the steel wheels singin'
This Train
Bells of freedom ringin'
This Train
Carries broken-hearted
This Train
Thieves and sweet souls departed
This Train
Carries fools and kings
This Train
All aboard
This Train
Dreams will not be thwarted
This Train
Faith will be rewarded
This Train
Hear the steel wheels singin'
This Train
Bells of freedom ringin'

It shoulda been fun but there's a big age-gap with us and we didn't really know what to say to each other. Before we'd even reached the borders of SF (where he lives) there was a taut silence. That was a few years ago now, and actually, if we did it again now we'd very probably have a much better time.
My next road-trip is not likely to be in the near future, I've been holidaying way too much lately, is there really an such thing as too much holiday? Well given that I am trying (not very hard) to do very little money-work and succeeding, holidays will probably be kept to a minimum. Which certainly doesn't mean none.
There is some vague talk of a drive from SF to NYC with my friends Marissa and Liselle this year...
God listen to me blathering on. Gotta go get gussied up for tonights extravaganza at the Speaker Palace.
Laters!
