I've seen Alana (one of the two founders) at TechShop all hours of the day and night, inventing new finishes for novel materials to make them catch the light just so, or soldering circuits for the prototype handbags. And she's one of several folks I'm proud to be brushing elbows with in daily life. There's Anton, who devised an origami-inspired kayak that folds away. Or David, who makes kits for do-it-yourself diving robots.

You're extremely lucky to be surrounded by such awesome people.
I didn't know about the 1800 tequila, but I looked it up. Came up with nothing that relates to the dreams, and the bottle doesn't match, so I guess it's just a coincidence.
If you ever want to remember your dreams, writing down whatever you remember after you wake up really helps.

Yup, people are extremely friendly here. I'm still getting used to strangers saying hello in the street and having random conversations with car guards about the weather and stuff. Everyone wants to chat and be your friend.

There's a song that cuts.
I have heard tell that American chestnuts are sweeter and better-tasting than European chestnuts, and that the reason chestnuts have fallen out of favor here is that Americans were unwilling to settle for the European kind. It is presumably easier to sing the praises of something no one's ever tasted, of course.
