Arrived back at my parent's house, Mobile, Al.

Next stop: London.

---

The last few days were spent with scattered friends, reconvening in Huntsville, AL. for our yearly catch-up and geek-out festival of gaming. It was quite grand, but made up of all the sort of stories that don't work when you don't know the folks being talked about. Instead I shall leave you with a picture of a two year old and her balloon.

Indeed. I hate seeing cigarette butst everywhere. Even as a smoker I find them offensive. Butts of the other variety can be quite attractive though.

Oh that's great they have a beehive, honeybees are dying out lately in massive numbers which is really serious for food production and apparently one of the things you can do to help is to have small hives in your gardens so I hope your parents little bees do well and wield lots of honey too :-) Ok so that date you emailed is good, I will email you my moblie number.

Restaurants/Bars: Velryba, BarBar, Pizzeria Kmotra, Globe Bookstore & Coffeehouse (not in the same location as where I used to work, but it's supposedly still good), the beer garden in Letna Park, and under the Charles Bridge, on the Mala Strana side, should be a little outdoor restaurant that usually has a good deal on chicken, soup, and beer. Most of these places either have websites or I'm pretty sure they're still open.

Try: (I can't remember if you're a veg or not but anyhow) fried cheese (smazeny syr), pizza at Kmotra, potato croquettes at Velrbya, salads ar BarBar, Staropramen beer (pivo) anywhere, Becherovka anywhere.

See: Charles Bridge, Letna Park, Prague Castle, Petrin Hill, Stromovka Park, Mala Strana, Letna, and Hradcany neighborhoods, Old Town Square, Wenceslaus Square, and any small art shows you may come across.

Mainly, just walk around. That place is filled with all sorts of little hidden treasures. And if you find yourself in a group of people all following someone holding an umbrella and shouting shit about a building, run. wink

Oh, and give it a big hug for me.

EDIT: Maybe join the SG Czech group here too. You might be able to meet up with some folks. Also, my advice is all 10+ years old.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. Fuck, I hate that auto-correct function, since I end up attempting to write the same word five times before I get it.
