You know what's frustrating? Having a photographic memory(which I do, obviously, or there wouldn't be a case for frustration ). Can you guess why it's frustrating? There are several reasons:
1. I seem to understand things much easier and quicker than everyone else my age (because I remember every detail of what happens when I want to, and can look back on it whenever I please). Which, while ego boosting and slightly amusing, also means I see people my age as so stupid it's mind boggling and as a result they annoy the sh*t out of me.
2.The only person it seems I can meet minds with is 70, brilliant and slightly insane. Why is this a frustrating concept? Becuase intelligence is the only thing I look for in other people, more specifically that their intelligence be = to or < than my own, if only so we can Understand each other.
3. I remember every detail of all the shitty things that happened in my life, right down to the lighting and spaces of breathing in conversations since preschool. Why is this shittier than it sounds? Because the moments I remember are the one where my father (6 years ago) after I came down to go to a concert in my new goth attire said "I'm so disgusted with you, right now... I can't even look at you". Or when my mother said she would paint my walls with my cats blood because my friend left the door open and let him escape.
