Vox QotD: Zombie Attack, Twister, Earthquake, Flood, Fire,....
Are you prepared in case of a natural disaster? What do your plan and preparations include?
Not really, but I guess I should start reading this book..
.. but then again I have seen a lot of Undead movies.. so I get the gist of what I need to do.. And my many hours of hands on experience of Zombie blasting by playing a lot of "Resident Evil" should also come in handy. Although I should probably pick up a Sword and a few guns. Which shouldn't be to difficult seeing on how I live in Texas.

So I'm giving up on watching T.V.. Well almost.. what I mean is I'm giving up watching all regular/cable "shows" (Heroes, Dexter, and so on..) on my Television at home for the foreseeable future. No, this does not include DVDs and Video Games. Yes, this includes Sporting Events. And yes.. I to am wondering how long this will last.

First off.. it's good to be back (blogging) after having virtually no free time during the month of October. And now that the big deadline has come and gone.. I have been "busy" doing nothing for the first week of November. So now that all is pretty much back to normal in my world.. How bout them Cowboys!!! Dallas goes into Philadelphia and wins by a score of 20-16, giving Dallas a 4 game wining streak and putting them on top of the NFC East. The play (and player) of the game comes from one Miles Austin who scored the wining touchdown with his one and only 44yrd catch. Good night.

Vox QotD: My Biggest Frustration
What's the biggest frustration in your life right now?
The fact that I'm stretched for (free) time. Normally I would say working 10hrs a day isn't so bad.. I don't have much of a life anyways, but its starting to take it's toll. Especially after a month of doing so. Working those long Holiday Hours hasn't really bothered me before in the past.. so I don't know what it is.. well its probably a sign that I'm not getting any younger. I'm starting to becoming lazy, undisciplined, and unfocused. While this is not happening every day.. but it starting to occur more often than I'd like. I don't go to bed when I should.. and this is causing me to get up later than I'd like.. I'm not as sharp at work as I should be... I'm more tired, well more mental than physical fatigue really.. I stopped going to the gym on a regular basis.. I'm more easily distracted... I don't sleep as much or as well as I should.. doing simple chores is a drag.. for instance I washed my clothes, but I didn't hang them up.. I just thew them in a pile on the floor in the corner. And the Dallas Cowboys are kinda sucky right now.

This Weekend...
I wish I could forget. Virtually everyone but me (I had to work) was partying in Las Vegas over the weekend for my Mother and Stepfathers "Wedding Renewal", The weather was gloomy (which personally I kind of do like), I only got one day off from work (but I won't be complaining when I get the paycheck), the Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars and Cowboys lost, and someone vandalized my brother's Tiburon. They didn't take anything.. they just wanted to brake the rear window. It's becoming quite apparent that parking in front of that mail box is a curse as my Cavalier was also broken into and later totaled on the very same spot.

Leave around 7pm. If I'm not to tired I go to the gym. Then I come home around between 8-9pm. Then I go to sleep.. repeat the next day. Good times.

Fri 25 Sep – Girl In A Coma with The Loosies
For the third time in 4 months, the ladies of "Girl in a Coma" made their way to Dallas, and of course for the third time I made my way to the show. For this stop in north Texas they headed back to the "House of Blues" in downtown Dallas. The opening act for the night was a local Punk band called "The Loosies". Like "GIC", "The Loosies" are a trio of ladies who like to play loud and fast music. Their show was a good one and I hope to check them out again sometime in the near future.
Girl in a Coma... what else can I say that I haven't already. They totally knocked the show out of the park. The ladies gave their all and the crowd was electrified by them. Nina is Pure Charisma.. Jenn is a Dynamo.. and Phanie is a ball of Energy! I can't highly recommend these ladies enough. Tonight "Girl in a Coma" is back on the road and I ask that if they happen to be playing in your town and if your into Alternative and Punk music, PLEASE do go and see their show. You won't be disappointed.
As usual I took my camera and grabbed some pic and vids of the night. However the third time was the charm for me as I finally got a great spot for the show which got me some good shots. Enjoy.

The Roadrunner is Back!
It's drivable and fine for those afternoon drives on the Weekends. But like all project cars (especially the older ones) there are still a few more accouterments to be had. For now we took it back to my Father's property out in the country until we can find a more secure location to keep it, i.e. clean out the garage.
