So there's many new things going on in my life. I have a new boyfriend. He's from Brooklyn and he works at Trash and Vaudville. He's a rather cute boy I'm going to see the Misfits on Friday...ah if only Glen Danzig still sang for them instead of Jerry Only and my my BFF is having a Halloween party on Saturday. I'm either going as Dog the Bounty Hunter's Wife if my boy agrees to be Dog the Bounty Hunter or a cigarette.
Here's some pics of the bf

The bf and I are barely visable here. the other two are my friend's orlando and NecroNegro

here's the bf

and just for fun...here's me bellow

I'm going to NYC this weekend to see Wes (retrograde's) band, The Simple Pleasures play at CB's which is part of CBGBs tonight. Then I will possibly see wifey. I'm happy to be getting out of CT for the weekend but I have much cleaning to do before I depart.

Ps. I must tease the mullet. I cannont tell you how nice it is to have so much less hair. Less hair= less time in the shower + less shampoo used+ less styling time+ less drying time.

So, the good news is that I finally got my fashion mullet ala supercuts. The bad news is that she cut it a little shorter in the back than I would've liked. Now, I can either wait for it to grow or get extensions.

In other news, my wifey boy finally called me after disappearing for 2-3 weeks. Even though he has no cell phone I managed to track him via friends in NYC. I am the ultimate stalker and his friends were convinced that I was the police. I found out through one of his friends that he is seeing some 17 year old girl which makes me sad and disappointed. He said he'd call me back today but of course he didn't.

I need a new boy. I'm taking applications. seriously...

If I had a personal ad it would read...
MUST HAVE MULLET

pictures to come...

ps. a poem I like from
It's 3:33
Like an M16
Carve a 666
On the back of your wrist
Feel like you don't mean shit
But your mother says she loves you,
finally.

-my friend Jesse Patrick is published there. Look for her work in the poetry section

I'm in love with a boy who ran away to New York City and I don't know where he is. It makes me sad, really. He hasn't called in 4 days and I don't know what will happen. The thing is, I'm not really interested in being with anyone else. He is my perfect boy. I don't know what to do, because he has no cell phone so I can't even call him. He has knucle tattoos that say "Lost Soul" on them. He also has a skid row tattoo---"18 and life", a misfits tattoo, a "search and destroy tattoo", a pin up girl and a seahorse and more that I forget. I want him to come back.

Here are pictures of him:

he's the creepy one grabbing that dude's nuts

these aren't particularly good pictures of him but that's all i have for now.

In the meantime I think I may work on getting a fashion mullet ala...

The song of the moment is:

Kath -

I'm so glad I waited for this

every nervous moment worth it

every anxious wave rode through

to find me lying safe with you

all to rise up

righteous coward

chickenhead waiting for a storm in paradise

Push, whine, push

To gripe to her at me

We killed the jealous; killed the judgment right

I'm so glad the wait is through

I'm so glad I waited for you

So yesterday, I went to NYC with the boy I am seeing. He just moved here from there. We had fun. I met his friends, ate sushi and drank forties. Then we went and slept at a squathouse in Brooklyn called the Batcave. The next morning we were trying to drive back into the city when a car came down a one-way street at 70 miles an hour and hit my car. I ended up bleeding a lot from my forehead and having to go to the hospital. My car was totalled and I had to call my parents to pick me up in the city. They were more worried about me than pissed but now I have no car, infact my car is still in Brooklyn and I feel pretty stranded and crappy about the whole thing. I should take pictures of my head gash to post. It's pretty punkrock and hardcore. Hope your lives are better than mine right now. xo

She was a middle class girl
She was in over her head
She thought she could stand up in the deep end
He had a bullet proof smile
He had money to burn
She thought she had the moon in her pocket

But now she's dead
She's so dead
Forever dead and lovely now

I've always been told to remember this
Don't let a fool kiss you
Never marry for love
He was hard to impress
He knew everyone's secrets
He wore her on his arm just like jewelry
He never gave but he got
He kept her on a leash
He's not the kind of wheel you fall asleep at

But now she's dead
Forever dead
Forever dead and lovely now

Come closer, look deeper
You've fallen fast
Just like a plane on a stormy sea
She made up someone to be
She made up somewhere to be from
This is one business in the world where that's no problem at all
Every thing that is left
They will only plough under
Soon everyone you knew will be gone

But now she's dead
Forever dead
Forever dead and lovely now

But now she's dead
Forever dead
Forever dead and lovely now

I've always been told to remember this
Don't let a kiss fool you
Never marry for love
Everything has its price
Everything has its place
What's more romantic than dying in the moonlight?
Now they're all watching the sea
What's lost can never be broken
Her roots were sweet but they were so shallow

And now she's dead
Forever dead
Forever dead and lovely now

And now she's dead
Forever dead
And she's so dead and lovely now

your face is an open book these days
I read between the lines and skim
If I knew the right words to change your mind
I'd write them across your face
one-thousand times
but you are too far away from my hands
In your living room
I whisper your name
If you put your hands into the folds of my flesh
you'd know all my secrets
the messy bedroom
and all the spiderwebs up my sleeves
all the scabs could be pulled back
to reveal blood
I'd drive all night to arrive at your house
press you down on the couch
suck the pulp from between your lips.

So, it's official. I will be featured in the 2007 edition of Best Lesbian Erotica.
Here is the e-mail I recieved from Tristan Taormino:

Dear BLE 07 Finalists,

I am pleased to tell you that you've made the final final cut, and we'd be
honored to include your story in BEST LESBIAN EROTICA 2007. There were some
tough decisions for guest judge Emma Donoghue and I, but we are psyched
about your story being a part of the book.

Here are some things you need to know:

EDITING: The entire manuscript now goes to a copyeditor at Cleis Press, and
I should get it back later this month.

--If there are only minor changes to your piece (usually grammar, tense,
spelling, syntax), I won't contact you UNLESS you tell me NOW that you
Would like to see and approve all changes, however minor. In that case, I
will forward you your edited story.

---If it comes back and your story requires more than minor changes, then I
will be in touch with you. I will be emailing you at the address that this
email came to. If there is another, better way to reach you, please email
Me with that info. If you will be out of town or unreachable from now
through the end of September, please let me know your schedule.

PUBLICATION: The book is due to come out before Thanksgiving, in time for
holiday shoppers. You will receive your two free contributors' copies
*directly from the publisher, Cleis Press.* If you have moved or plan to
move around then, or would like your books sent to an address other than the
one you wrote on your contract, please email me ASAP.

PAYMENT: You will receive a check for $100 from me as soon as Cleis pays
me, and I expect that will be in December. I will also send you a copy of
our contract for your records. If you have moved, or would like your check
sent to an address other than the one you wrote on your contract, please
email me ASAP.

READINGS: We'll be setting up readings around the country to promote the
book. If you are interested in setting up a reading or event in your local
area, please get in touch with me.

Congratulations again, and let me know if you have any questions.

So many things have occured in the last few months. I recieved my grades from last term at Southern and they are as follows:
Sexuality and Ethics in literature- A
Peer Counseling- A
Poetry- A
Algebra- C

So I am psyched about that. I took a philosophy course over the summer so i can finish college faster. I also got a new job at DMR (The Connecicut Department of Mental Retardation). It's a state job and well paid- $17.00/hr. My job consists of driving the van to take retarded individuals who are staying in our respite home to recreational activities in the community, cleaning, doing laundry, cooking dinner, writing notes and case studies of individuals, doing intake and the best part...changing adult and children's diapers...ewww. I am happy with the job so far.

I also recently heard from Tristan Taormino , editor of Best Lesbian Erotica and found out that my story, French Handwriting is in the running for the 2007 edition. I will know if it was officially accepted in a week or so but it was nice to talk to tristan on the phone. She liked my story and did some edits on it for me in hopes that the publisher will accept it. Accourding to her, it's in but the final say is the publisher so we'll see. I'm stoked. If it gets in I may get to do some readings on the East Coast and it'd be nice if my SG pals could make it.

In other news, my birthday is on Friday. I'm turning twenty-two. Not such an exciting birthday. All the good birthdays happened already, 16, 18, 21. After that the next big birthday is 30 and that's just scary for me.

In case you forgot, this is me:
