Thanks for commenting on my last post, makes me feel like I'm not just wasting my time
Yesterday my friend came over and we watched "Monty Python's Life of Brian," and it was hilarious. The Biggus Dickus segment had me in tears. It was probably one of the funniest movies I have seen, well, ever, although I could understand why many people would not get it at all.
Kind of annoying, I was supposed to see my friend today, who I was really good friends with in high school, but you know how college affects things. Anyway, It has been almost 9 months since we have hung out, and I was excited to just catch up, but then my friend got sick last night, and that was that.

Now for the geek portion of the blog, to avoid the nerd rage, just take a page out of "Spaced" and Skip to the end...
I am still really fracking mad that Family Guy is now the first animated series to be nominated for a best comedy emmy, and not The Simpsons. First of all, The Simpsons is a better show, hell back in the first 8 seasons it was the greatest show ever. That's not just one geek's opinion, but an opinion shared by many big time sources. Sure the quality has slipped, but I still say it's better than Family Guy. Don't get me wrong, I like Family Guy, but the whole situation has pissed me off.
Forgive me father for I have sinned, I watched bootlegged footage of "Kick Ass," from the Comic Con Panel.
I don't care though because it was awesome. How can you not love a movie that has a 12 year old girl chopping gangsters to pieces with a katana?
That's it for today, apologies to Catholics, I don't know if that forgive me father thing was offensive, I KNOW it wasn't funny... and also apologies to you for wasting your time
