ah! relief.

i began a new career at a startup specializing in mobile app development for restaurants. i'm helping them start an inside sales team. it's a salary position, with rips on each sale and equity opportunity. its a 50 hour week not including saturday sales training, though. hopefully the hours won't be rough on my new relationship, as we only see each other once or twice a week as it is.

overall, i am happy. on thursday night i'll head down to the bronx for xmas with the family, and i'll return on sunday night. good times

oh. and i'm in love. and its requited. woah.

oh. i just found out that if i dont have $850 by january first, my brother and roommate are kicking me out of the apartment.

the worst thing about not having any money is eating mac and cheese every day. i love mac and cheese. i really dont want to get sick of it.

gosh. i owe so much money to so many people.

i try not to think about it, especially as i currently have no way of obtaining money, but its kinda impossible to avoid. i am drowning. if i don't get a job soon, idk what's going to happen.

this is the second year in a row i can't afford to buy christmas gifts for my family. i owe hundreds of dollars to my roomie, my brothers, my mother, and my aunt. i owe thousands to the irs. i have four weeks to come up with the next rent payment, and i havent even paid all of what i owe for last month.

its a good thing i met this girl, or i'd be losing my damn mind right now. she does not know that, and i don't think it's time to tell her.

woah! thxgiving was swell.

i mostly spent the week hanging out with my brothers

and eating. thxgiving at my godmother's house rocks because before the white people food we eat a big italian antipasto. and stromboli, though im not sure where that came from.

also, we chopped down a sick christmas tree. mama didn't think it would fit in the house, but i told her every tree she wanted sucked until she agreed that the one i picked was the best. i dont have a picture of it yet.

the nurse is messing with my brain chemistry. im not sure how to differentiate between dating and a relationship, so i don't know what exactly is going on, but i like it. i need to find out how to tell the difference. i'm crazy for this girl.

mama gave me a dutch oven. she didn't fart the bed! a cast iron dutch oven. i love it. i make so many great meals with one of these bad boys. i need to go to the meat house and procure some delicious cuts.

though jobless, i'm loving life so much right now. i met a wonderful person. i have been having great fun with my friends, made more fun by remembering it through reduced imbibing. i'll be in new york for almost a week with my brajas for foodday!

last friday night, i was inebriated. i was ejected from my favorite bar due to a malicious patron's desire to have me ejected from my favorite bar. drunkmike was displeased. drunkmike tweeted "fuck [said bar]"

drunkmike tweeted "fuck [said bar]" from the wrong twitter account. drunkmike tweeted from his work twitter account.

sober mike was fired today for such.

halloween was a fun weekend. i worked on sunday, but on saturday night, i was paulie bleeker from juno.

i've decided to eat hamburgers every day this week, and i don't know why.

i might get a job as a bouncer at an awesome bar that has a bowling alley in it and they want to move me up to bartender as quickly as possible, bc i know the bar manager and we are tight.

when humanity was just beginning - when the population was immensely small, and the future of the species unsure - every life was of the utmost importance. our kind was too few for any idividual to not matter. life was always hard, and we were always conscious of it. we have always known of the likelihood of our own death.

maybe that's what i'm missing. i wish every life was important, but it's not true. having an impact on a small group of people does not make one important to a species. there are many who have lived that would be proclaimed indispensable to humanity, who will have had no particular impact on the course of our specie's existence.

i want to have a major part in humanity not ending. i want to contribute to its advancement and continued existence.
