ha. i just looked at my w2s from 2010. i made between 17 and 18 thousand dollars. if i was a family of two in alaska, i would have been below the poverty line. thank stars i didn't get that inuit girl pregnant. however, that puts me in an awesome position to get financial aid so i can go back to school. get that degree. boom!

boston is very icy. its kinda fun.

finding affordable housing in boston is difficult. i wish there was more uninhabited forest within the city so i could build a treehouse and not be detected. within the next 5 years, i think i might need to move to costa rica.

speaking of houses in the forest, there is footage of a new, uncontacted tribe in the amazon up. it was filmed as part of an effort to prove to peru's president that these tribes exist, and thus need protection from loggers and miners. the government of peru has been denying the existence of such tribes for years. it would be sad to see such tribes wiped out, but it seems some people don't give a funk. bastardos!

That is amazing: that they still live disconnected from us, and that people don't believe they're there!

I'm sure they don't serve the one true god, whichever it is, so to cast them to hell wouldn't be such a major.

Also, we didn't evolve - if we did, why don't we look like kumquats? It's a no-brainer for sure!

Obscure tribes are win. It's fascinating. You can't help but want to learn more about them but that would kind of kill the mystery. Schroedinger's cat tribe.

The treehouse scenario is one I've also contemplated... mostly in Swiss Family Robinson style dreams so not very practically. It reminds me of an involuntary "who is the biggest veg head" competition I was drawn into with some crazy gas-station lady who randomly interjected after asking me about the extremity of my vegititude..."I lived in a tree!" It's since become my interjection to any "naturalist" conversation "I don't wear leather" "I lived in a tree!" It always wins. You should do it for street-cred.

And now I want kumquats, pinkie. Kirk Cameron-speak gives me the munchies.

BAHAHAHa I fucking LOVE your insight into my current problem. I have always had male besties, mostly gay hahah..so not a lot of issues there, very clear cut. But I really wanted to be close to James again, but not if he is gonna be all after me like a puppy...

That is the first time anybody has ever called my face swell. I found it rather amusing. tongue Thank you for that.

Also good luck with your entry to school! When you're a starving student, you will learn how to hustle and pull a few tricks up your sleeve. Which to me, basically means dancing around in a Scottish kilt playing the harmonica, while people toss coins at you on the street.

Hey don't laugh, that's how we made bus fare back home that night. XD

you're kind of my favorite.

and i'm sure that inuit girl is thanking her lucky stars that she's not kicking it below the poverty line with you in alaska. putting a mortgage on an igloo isn't as easy as it sounds.
