ACK! The holidays are upon us. In-laws, thanksgiving, blarg!

First post in 5 months...

I drank gin last night... always a mistake... and slept fitfully... always dreaming of the world as I wish it was.

Morning can be cruel.

I went to see Blood and Chocolate at a pre-screening on Thursday night. I don't know if you have been to these pre-screening things, but they are always first come, first served for seats... if you don't show up early you don't get a seat. I was the second in line (I got there 4 hours early) and had great seats. It was definately worth seeing. Not Underworld... not Kate Beckinsale... but still pretty good. If you like Werewolf stuff, go see it.

So my new job starts on Monday

I am excited. The next few months sould be fun!

I am back after an extended hiatus.

I got a new job and I am thrilled. I was particularly fun to watch my boss plead and beg to make me stay after he has treated me like crap for 6 months

XMas shopping begins today...

I am beginning to think I need a new job. I just got back from a week off and already I wish I never came back. Tonight I ordered a bottle of Francois Guy and Nouveau Orleans absinthe. It should make for an interesting bohemian get together. I am now creating the web site the local alterantive venue of choice... so I get free tickets to all the shows. This could be the best programming job ever. In the next few months I have tickets to "Panic! At The Disco with The Dresdon Dolls", "Ministry with RevCo", "Rob Zombie with Lacuna Coil", H.I.M, His Name Is Alive, Jolie Holland, The Ditty Bops, etc (I like a wide variety of music)...

Ok... so i erased all my journal entries because they were all depressing. I am turning over a new leaf and henceforth the journal entries should be substantially less depressing.

I am "working from home" today. Which basically means I am not working. I am reading the second book in the Sword of Truth series and Lilith's as yet unpublished work.

Monday I meet with a surgeon to have my belly button fixed.. I got a hernia and my belly button is now very ugly

I feel 200% better than last week. That is a good sign.
