I wonder if most people know how inefficient the majority of our military operates. It really baffles me when you see that a Fortune 500 Company hires some retired military officer as a CEO, CFO, etc. We are supposed to be the most powerful military in the world, but from my shoes (and I am in no way in a management position) it's amazing that we have achieved certain victories. This baffoonery excludes those in the special operations section of the military. Those elements get to operate mostly under their own doctrine, and don't have to follow the kindergarten-like antics of the "general" military, but they only make up less than one whole percent of our fighting force.
Imagine if you owned a company, and a small group that was less than an entire ONE PERCENT was your most effective?
