so my one day of dear hunting of the year is over. i saw one deer and that was just the ass of it running away.
plus, my band's guitarist told us today that he's leaving the band. his last show will be next week at mac's. that means the show we have in hamtramck next month will be done as a three piece.

so i'm kinda excited. a friend of mine is getting married on saturday and it's a black tie wedding. so i get to wear a tux. i don't like paying for it, but i look damn good in it. i told my wife that i was going to have women all over my jock. she laughed. another reason i'm happy was the election. i'm not really democrat, and i'm not republican, but i hate the prez. it makes me happy to see that the majority of the country is not happy with the direction we're going in.
so the show we played saturday was really weird. the first band was from toledo and they were more of a primus like group. i love primus, but these guys were no primus. they were cool though. the second band was a bunch of rock dudes. then us, we're more instrumental punk. then the hearsemen. here is where it gets weird. i was very excited about the hearsemen cuz the description on the web site said they were funeral surf rock. they weren't surf rock, and it wasn't a funeral. twas kinda painful in my thought.

two hours sleep. played show last night in ypsilanti. weirdest bill we've ever been on. more about that later. went up and seen the lillins today. ran around with them. very tired.

so i think i might cancel my subscription to here. i'm becoming more and more dissatisfied with the direction of this site. i didn't like how that csi episode became one big commercial for this place, and now i'm hearing shit about some bad blood between people who run this. it was really cool when it was a simple purpose. hot girls with tattoos and peircings who were into cool shit and you got to meet and talk to people from all over. i don't know.

it's always weird when a family member dies. sad, especially when unexpected. seems like the only time the whole family is together is when there is a funeral. that's just as sad.

okay, so who saw csi new york last night, raise yr hands. i thought it was cool until they got to the photoshoot scene and they started spouting off making sound like one big sell out promo for the site. i thought that was a little too much. i need to collect my thoughts.

okay. today was a good day i guess. had practice with the band and got to see little miss sunshine with the wife. definatly a good day last night was pretty cool too. went and saw red swan, funender and easy action play here in lansing. always a good time.
