I'm baaaaack!!! Yes, Diaz has been BEGGING me to pop in & say hi, so here I am!! Unfortunately I can't stay long (Facebook takes up waaay too much of my time already, & I write full-time these days so don't feel the need to keep a journal anymore), but am keen to check out what I've been missing out on this past year-&-a-half

My current membership is about to expire & after almost 2 years on the site I have decided not to renew it.

I have nominated Diaz to take over ownership of SGZA (SuicideGirls South Africa).

Our puppy is now a very robust 19kgs!! Will post pix as soon as I have downloaded them from my new camera (which my darling husband bought me for my birthday )

I am the proudest aunty in the world right now! On 14th August, at 3:18pm London time, my sister-in-law gave birth to little Jared David, brother to Aidan Christopher (who turned 3 only two days later). Aren't they just the most darling little boys ever



PS. I am the only person on Facebook with my married name, woohoo (Although there is one other girl out there who shares my maiden name )

We will definitely be in the new house by month end. We've found some awesome tenants (an Aussie chick & her Afrikaans man) to move into our townhouse on the 31st. Nothing better than other peeps paying off your bond for you!!

For all you Jo'burgers who haven't yet tried the new Cool Runnings in Riverbend Road - just off Witkoppen Road in Fourways - I can seriously recommend it. We have, quite by chance, ended up having supper there two Wednesday nights in a row now. They have an excellent selection of beer (I tried Cobra last week & Carlsberg this week - both on promotion), food is reasonably priced & tastes really good, & the clientele is a nice laidback, alternative one...no snooty Sandtonites here, dah-ling

Lee & I are busy doing a recon for all the unforeseen expenses involved in the new house & it is SCARY I just can't wait to move in now. Monty has really outgrown our little townhouse. Tomorrow he is exactly 4 months old!! Here are some pix I took of him earlier today, after his weekly bath, enjoying the winter sun

Tomorrow Lee & I are going to Decorex at Gallagher Estate in Midrand. We're hoping to get a 'show special' on automated garage doors.

We also need to pop into the new Mega Mica at Lifestyle Garden Centre to buy some limewashed bathroom accessories I saw there a while ago. They'll go really well with the Victorian look I've chosen for our bathrooms.

Unfortunately there have been all sorts of delays with the build this past week, which has set back our date for handover. Instead of being able to move in next weekend, we're looking at doing so closer to the end of the month Will keep you guys posted...
