Ooh, you knew going into it that he was moving. Ouch, that is self inflicted pain that I understand all too well. I did the same thing in a way. I started seeing a woman whom I discovered did not want children, an absolute deal breaker for me. But she said she was planning on moving in several months, so I figured we could enjoy each other's company until she took the new job. She ended up not taking the position, we fell hard for one another, and ended up with a painful split a year later when the children issue could not be resolved.

Business as usual... It is only when the two involved fall onto each other that it works as expected. Even then, it could be an ephimeral phenomenon, like my now-terminated marriage.
