i turn 25 on saturday, and i can't believe it.

i moved to new york at the end of may for an assistant manager job at a small firm that focuses on hardcore, but their circumstances changed about a week before i was supposed to start, so i've been replacement job hunting ever since.

insanely difficult.

i love the vibe and the energy of the city and how you can be anyone you want and change that every day, but when things are tough, it can feel really lonely even though you're surrounded by two million people. on the flip side, you never know where you're going to make a new friend - the hardware store, the neighborhood diner, the salon...so that's been the bright side of things.

to celebrate the end of finals, i'm going to see DITA at the roxy in LA followed by a weekend in vegas! light at the end of the tunnel

this week trashed me. minor school panic, a lot of personal life panic and just a lot of overwhelmingnessickiness

but i regrouped and spent the weekend crazy organizing my apartment. because yes, organizing is relaxing to those of us with OCD haha

i'm hoping that calm and energy start my week off tomorrow.

gotta get through class tonight and then i can gear up for a crazy fun weekend with my girls!
