now that summer is over, and im back to my regularly scheduled programming (school full time, work full time, band on the weekends), i should probably be on here more often and try to get myself reinvolved with everyone. ive been a pile of crap recently, i need to work my way back in here.

well, back for a brief stint between tour legs...been crazy so far...lots of places, lots of driving, lots of beer, and some awesome shows.

back on the road next wednesday...then i won't be back until roughly july 10th or so...should be pretty awesome.

we got on the NJ warped tour date, which is pretty awesome too. for those planning on attending, we will be on the ernie ball stage, come check us out and come say hi!

we are close to finishing tracking on our new EP, which we hope to release by mid-August at the latest. Keep checking our website, www.superspecsrock.com, for updates and more info on the record and tour and all that jazz.

holy crap its been a while.

i have been so busy, i can't even explain it. and i don't even have energy anymore due to chasing a certain lady around the past couple of weeks. probably friend zone. i'll give it one more shot.

couple finals next week, then summer.

during which, tour. which will be expensive and fun as hell.

oh yeah, we have some open dates still, so if anyone knows of people who book or bands in the states of IL, IN, MO, WI, OH, MI, AR, MS, or TN, please please please let me know, so we can feed ourselves in between shows.

ok, so thats about it i suppose. we're playing in NYC with Big D and the Kids Table at the Continental on Sunday Afternoon, May 29, so if anyone from there wants to go, i just may be able to discount or eliminate the door charge. let me know. i'll officially post the event in the 'events' section soon, with more info.

ok, ok, so i'm not as depressed as i was last entry. but i'm still in a shitty rut. whatever, i've gotten quite used to being perpetually single and permanently virgin. sigh.

in the good half of my life, however, i have 2 awesome shows coming up with my band, thursday at the TLA in philly, and saturday at STARLAND BALLROOM in sayreville, nj with STREETLIGHT MANIFESTO and VOODOO GLOW SKULLS!! we played with them on sunday at BB Kings in NYC, and the show kicked all kinds of ass. the saturday show should be especially amazing, because it's sort of a homecoming show for streetlight, back to jersey.

IF ANYONE NEEDS TICKETS, you can buy them from me! $12. face value. no ticketmaster fees. but please please let me know asahp so i can either ensure their timely arrival or set you up at the will call office. we're one of only a couple independent bands on this show, so please help support the locals!

besides, i would be eternally grateful and guarantee a hug and photo-op if you come.

i really don't get it. and probably never will.

is what i'm looking for so impossible? a girl, who is generally nice, loves music, is fairly smart, and is moderately attractive. those are my minimum requirements...am i asking too much? i suppose i must be, considering all of the girls i know who meet and/or exceeed those levels want NOTHING TO DO WITH ME "IN THAT WAY", EVER. all i've ever been to anyone female is good enough to be a friend, nothing more. not that i mind it. i love my female friends. they're some of my best friends and trusted friends. but i really need something more than friends. i already have an overabundance of great friends. i'm all set there.

every day i wake up with something missing. something 99% of the people who have it don't appreciate. it's a surging emptiness that grows exponentially every day. it really makes me feel quite worthless, and constantly whittles away what little self-confidence i have left.

it especially adds up when, say, a "prospect" comes into the picture, then immediately passes over me to go to one of my friends (which has happened dozens of times), then i end up becoming THEIR FRIEND because they're dating my friend. it's an endless cycle.

it also hurts greatly when i have friends who set up my other friends WHO DON'T NEED TO BE SET UP BECAUSE THEY CAN GET DATES EASILY ON THEIR OWN, and they don't even condsider that i may like to go out and have fun at least once a year or so.


i fucking hate my life. more everyday.

school=over for the semester...seems i should be getting decent grades again. at least i think i deserve them.

xmas is here, and once again, i see my life is quite different from previous years. for the better? not sure yet. we'll have to give it a little more time.

i really miss the fuck out of JaiDee and all of the other sgnyers, i really hope i can be more of a productive community member in the near and distant future.

school is finally nearing the end.

one of my teachers resigned last week. with three fucking weeks left. meaning, the A i was going to have in that class now turns into a "pass", which basically means i get credit for the class but no grade at all. crapola. i'm trying to get up over the 3.9 mark.

i have band things i need to do that day, but there's a specific holiday party next week i would very much like to attend, and i'm gonna do my best to get out there. crossing those fingers.

i miss JaiDee greatly. she knows.
