pretty sure there's something killing me. can't avoid the fact that it's a result of many years of "hard livin." the debts of youth can be a goddamn hard bill to pay with age.

my horse died yesterday. she was 32. i've had her most my life.

i have so many ridiculous interests, and so few seem to jive with the other. this makes it hard to fit in.

the things i love:

- playing music (i'm a drummer, btw - in a rad country band)
- getting tattooed (ok, that fits in the above, right?)
- riding motorcycles (still, we're sort of in line?)
- gambling (still sort of in line, yeah?)
- eating super fancy food - or, really, being a "foodie" (uh oh, here's where it gets weird)
- being a nerd (writing code pays my bills - aw shit, now we're really veering away)
- playing golf (well, now it's all fucked)

i grew up a fancy country club kid. then i strayed at some point. but i never let go of my roots. so i'm now in this weird area of nerd/biker/rockstar/annoying preppie guy. no one i know shares in all this with me.

it's a hard life. first world problems.
