Resemble those that will keep me silent
When hopes of well timed hips
Fail to win out over red carpet nights.

Until then, mysterious looks
between deep breaths and melodies
will dance like curious glances,
trying to not cue warranted caresses
amidst thoughts of future performances,

And monotony will align itself
with the secure secretly, the way
passion hides in casual goodbyes
and lingers long after a safe ride home .

Make the day that much easier to fill.
Drown reality in caffeine and direction.
