I've been having some amazing conversations in the morning that make the rest of my day so much more manageable.

I started a special picture just for my very special friend. She's the greatest.

How about some new art. At least, I don't believe I've posted these. Welcome to my random wall tour.

I'm starting to truly believe in myself and I'm tired of hiding from the world.

I drew this and, frankly, was embarassed because it did not meet my expectations. I wanted to draw something worhty of Radeo. To me, it just doesn't look like her so I never shared it before.

I wish you could smell the sweet flowers. Basil flowers smell so good, now they are in my room filling the air.zoom image
And there are plenty of leaves for the pluckingzoom image

The mighty sunflowers have almost all died. They now rest upon the treefolk, their memory lives on

Well this one is finished, I just need to focus on my big ass canvas that will never get done if I keep distracting myself.

I was thinking of making a video where I read some poems, could be fun. I'm a bit nervous about it but I'm curious if anyone would like to hear. CleoKat gave me the idea and I'm sure I'll end up doing it anyway lmao.

Well, here are some old sharpie pictures because I just love looking at old folders and finding new shit to post. I don't think I've showed these before.

This was a birthday present to my little brother two years ago. It is framed and I assume he still has it. We don't speak much since we live in different states and he is a bit selfish.

Recent days feel like memory lane. I had a chat about school with cleokat and suddenly went through old files containing some of the bullshit I wrote for old classes. I was surprisingly entertained. The files are fucked so not readable when I paste them here.

Here's a poem I retyped. I don't even remember writing it or what it was for but it was in my old school folder

Here I go again, gone insane
Delirious, mysterious ways
The more I push the less it stays
Can I wake up from this dream
I wish I saw clear, blue skies
Why can't I ever realize before it's too late
Is this my fate and all that will be
The beaten path crumbles from inside, my energy teases
I fight against that ever stronger tide
If I can overcome I don't have to hide
I'm looking for something more I can't see
Instead I just get taken for a ride

The truth is elusive
Your mind must awaken
Eternity hinges on the path you have taken
If you trust your senses

I liked the red pot way better but I love them alive most of all. It was simply too small so I had to buy the cheapest pot I could find that they fit in.

Am I the only guy in the world that thinks hair is annoying, my hair anyway
zoom image
I've been shaving my head since I was 20 and I really am ready for it to stop growing back!
zoom image
Silly to vent about this but now that I don't have to shave anymore I tend to go about a month before doing anything about it and it feels more and more like a chore.

Well that was nowhere and all over the place I guess. My mind does feel slightly out of control and I will continue to hang on and enjoy the ride. I hope you do, too and have a wonderful week.

Lately, I have been writing up a storm and pouring out my emotions uncontrollably. It feels wild, meaningful and without predictable direction. My passion can’t find a home but at this present moment it does not need one. I have surrendered my reason and analysis because they are what make me depressed and lonely.

I want to tap into the power of my emotion but the danger is in the confusion it causes. I tend to misplace and misunderstand what I feel sometimes. That’s OK as long as I don’t get carried away. The future seems more optimistic once each experience is embraced and enjoyed. As for elusive happiness, I have no answers as to where it resides. My conclusion, it cannot be found or directed to. It will lurk in the background and appear for a fleeting moment that must be savored before it passes.

For anyone that actually reads my blogs, you are well aware that I am all over the place and post shit very often. Welcome to my therapy sessions. It’s my Friday so I’m excited to finish work today and start my weekend. Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday.

Here is some more crazy shit

I should do it, I should sing that song
But I can't do shit til I hit that bong
I can do it in a minute baby won't take long
Gotta breath it and live it cuz it makes me strong
Gotta love those around me when they did me wrong
I don't need a mic
I don't need a band
I only need a thought with a very skilled hand
Hate if you want cuz you don't understand
Roll with the punches
Go with the flow
Always make the most of the least to grow

Success skips over like the record is jumping
Over your head these words you ain't hearing nothing

Chillin like a villain that is willin and able
Make a killin turn the table keep it comin and stable
I should do it take a leap baby don't look down
Gotta organize
Cut to size
Maximize
Open wide
Realize
Step inside
Find yourself
Fuck pride
Open minded keep grinding
Find your light keep shining
Never fear being blinded
Energetic calling siren
Perfect day perfect timing
Steep path keep climbing
Watch out cuz it's always winding

Well this weekend has definitely been a great one. I had a little chat with dedlynightshade and she was so understanding and really made me feel better. So its getting a bit chilly and I am trying to decide when to bring the plants in. It starts today so goodbye sunflowers and spearmint.

I am so broke right now but I just had to buy these mums. I didn't get to use my red pot this summer.
zoom image
What sucks is the mums barely fit and I think I'll have to buy a new pot quite soon before they die in there, oh well.
You already know I've been spending most of my time on the trusty old laptop

I recently posted the first chapter of a story I have been working on for far too long. I have been inspired to continue writing on it and, if anyone cares, here are chapter 2 and 3.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

THE STORM BEGINS

Basim rode along the banks of the Tohrnstain River on a warm summer day. He had journeyed for several hours by horse to find a secluded fishing spot. His uncle Nilmere allowed him to take off for several days because it was the perfect time to catch lots of migrating Khulmin trout. After all, Basim had just graduated a long apprenticeship.
Fresh fish would be a welcome addition to all their diets and he planned to catch as many as possible. However, what his uncle didn’t realize was that he had brought along Ausdew. She was supposed to be with her father on a trip to Hawkstone, but had secretly decided to stay behind.
The journey had taken the better part of the day and it brought them through the beautiful hills of the eastern Angel-wood Forest. Spruce and pine had slowly given way to oak and cypress as they descended from the hills and reached the spawning pools. They had finally found a spot they liked and dismounted, enjoying the warmth and spectacular views.
“Basim, I need to go for a dip.” She said in a playful voice. “It’s hot.”
She jogged toward the river’s edge, pulled off her shirt and turned around, smiling at him.
“I’m coming, baby. Just let me tie the horse.” He spoke while she took off her riding pants, threw them aside, and dove into the calm, cool water. The splash of her naked body violently broke the tranquility of the river.
“How’s the water Aussy?” He asked as soon as she resurfaced.
“Wow, it feels great. Hurry in!”
He ripped off his shirt and plopped down to pull off his boots. He threw them over his head wildly, then jumped up and tore off his pants. He quickly dove in and swam after her. She screamed and laughed, trying to get away.
He caught up to her and whirled her around to face him. She had the most beautiful green eyes and he stared into them deeply as she giggled and put her arms on his shoulders. Her dark hair was long and the ends of each strand floated atop the water like exotic kelp. Her breasts were like buoys, moving gracefully with the gently swaying current as he kissed her.
The cool, relaxing water calmed them while they shared the sweet moment together. She had a breathtaking smile that made his heart race. His muscular arms wrapped around her, pulling her close as he began to explore and massage her body. She was beginning to freckle on her small, slender nose and shoulders. Any longer in the sun and she was sure to burn. They enjoyed the water a few more minutes and then rested under a large oak tree for a nap.
“Honey,” he whispered as she rubbed her eyes in confusion. “I‘m gonna see if the fish are biting. Wanna come?”
“Start without me babe, I didn‘t get much sleep last night. You know all the excitement of the trip.” She quickly shut her eyes again and returned to her dream.
Basim got up and grabbed his pole, still watching her as she slept. Ausdew was perfectly slim and had stirred passions in him he never knew he had. He stood over her before he left, admiring her nude form as she rolled onto her stomach, exposing her wonderfully pale backside.
The fish were biting and he caught a dozen or so before she finally got up. The spot they had chosen was shallow and a half mile wide. It was one of many breeding areas that dotted the five thousand mile length of the river. Basim was waiting patiently for another fish to bite when Ausdew awoke. She quietly came up behind him and kissed his neck tenderly.
“Hey, look at all those!” She hugged him and he felt her cool breasts press against his back. He turned and they kissed slow and softly. He sat her on his lap and they embraced. Suddenly a cool breeze whipped around and startled them from their mood.
“What‘s going on?” She yelled as a thick fog quickly began to blow in and engulf everything without warning.
“I don‘t know Aussy.” Basim was rushing to dress and shivering from the bitter wind that gusted relentlessly.
A downpour soon started and they were soaking wet instantly. Basim struggled to pack up the horse as they fled in search of shelter. The temperature had already dropped almost thirty degrees and they were wet and freezing when Basim saw a rock formation. Several huge boulders blocked the rain that blew horizontally. They both fell from the horse and struggled to sort through the hastily packed gear. They needed a fire quickly.
His numb fingers struggled with the flint and steel but he finally got a small fire started. He had brought dries moss as a starter and Ausdew had gathered up small sticks and twigs that remained dry behind the shelter of the giant rocks. He then erected an elk skin and they had shelter. Ausdew began to sob as they huddled together to stay warm.
Basim cleaned and cooked several fish and dried their gear by the fire. They ate uneasily as night fell. The unnatural weather scared him and he hoped it would end soon. They both were exhausted and eventually fell asleep.
In the morning, sunshine dominated the sky and they were both relieved.
“Good morning love.” Ausdew said as she put her arms around Basim. He was lying next to her and gave her a kiss.
“That was not a natural storm.” He looked at her seriously while she avoided his glance and kissed his chest. “Look at me.” he said, putting his hand under her chin, raising her gaze to his. “I have a bad feeling. I think we should head home and tell my uncle what happened.” They agreed and quickly packed up to journey back to Dinoor.
Basim rode with Ausdew clinging to his back. The road they traveled gave them a spectacular view of the forest floor from over three thousand feet. They saw a huge patch of fog that continued to grow, changing shape and direction as it slowly moved toward the city of Feruce. It seemed to swallow trees and hills as it crept outward, expanding in all directions. They scanned the landscape and eventually looked to Dinoor in horror.
“No!” She yelled as she got off the horse and stood watching their home burn.
“Who could have done this?” Basim said as he dismounted and put his arms around her in consolation.
“Why, baby why?” She mumbled as she began crying uncontrollably.
“Don‘t worry, I’m gonna take care of us.” He kissed her wet lips. She looked at him through tears while he gently stroked her forehead and ran his fingers through her hair.
“I love you but I‘m scared.” She spoke with a lump in her throat, sniffled and then wiped her nose with a rag.
“Others will have survived, we're not the only ones.” Basim said as if trying to convince himself. She became silent and calmed down slightly. They got back on the horse and continued on cautiously.

THE SPLENDID CITY OF FERUCE

“These crowds are dangerous so watch your back.” Mrossard shouted. The men he commanded were getting more nervous as the streets began to fill with people. A cold fog swept the city and made an otherwise normal day anything but. A drizzle seemed to promise more rain and a terrible energy aroused the crowd. Many became berserk and attacked the city watch openly with their bare hands. Mrossard had already arrested dozens of people and his caravan was filling fast.
Mrossard was a burly man, not exactly fit but strong as an ox. He was the Feruce Watch Captain and was taking a group of criminals to the palace to be executed when the storm broke. Prisoners from the four corners of the giant city were transported in large barred carts pulled by a dozen oxen.
All of his units had just converged at the city center marketplace and now tried to make it to the Feruce dungeons down the main thoroughfare. Mrossard had brought reinforcements and now they all steadily fought through the streets to get to the palace. The crowds around them were bustling and rowdy as citizens poured into the city walls from all over the countryside.
“Protect the front first and foremost. Stay together and try to keep the train moving.” Mrossard began the march and had a small group form a wedge to part the crowd at the front. His biggest and fiercest watchmen took that position to make the mob less eager to engage them.
“Grab that man!” Mrossard shouted as someone launched a projectile in his direction. Darius grabbed a hold of him but the man was fairly strong and yanked from his grip. Darius was determined to catch him and bolted through the alley after the brigand. “Stop, Darius, it’s not worth it.”
Darius was already in pursuit. Mrossard had only known him for a few weeks but they found friendship immediately. Darius was young, ambitious and honorable. As a Xanzril warrior, Darius was training for knighthood and was enthusiastic about proving himself. Mrossard was becoming a mentor and teaching Darius much about a career as a soldier.
Darius chased the criminal down a side street and lunged just before the man ducked into an ally. He smashed into the outlaw and knocked him sideways from his feet as the criminal let out a sigh, expelling all his wind. A knee to the neck and a slight pummeling ended with shackles and a quick walk back to the wagon train.
“I was only gone two minutes, what happened?” Darius returned to find the crowd sizes had tripled. They were no longer able to part the foot traffic and continue moving toward Feruce Keep. A foggy downpour, mixed with a huge drop in temperature, created even more panic among the people.
“The end of the world came. Can’t you see?” Mrossard shouted back.
Darius added his recent catch to the prison ranks. At a standstill, the beasts of burden panicked as a barrage of debris was hurled in all directions.
Mrossard tried to defend the lead car with pikes because it contained the most wanted and dangerous murderers and ruffians. He only succeeded in driving the masses back for a few minutes and then was forced to order a retreat. The mob began to rock all the cars back and forth. One by one they toppled over like dominoes and the chaos was complete. The streets of Feruce had been taken from Mrossard in the matter of an hour.
Mrossard fought his way on foot as the group ducked into a side alley and took backward streets toward the palace. It was more than a riot and Mrossard was alarmed at the organization of this mob as they attacked his fleeing watchmen. It felt more like war as the crowd angled to cut off their retreat and even women joined together and began to throw heavy items from the second and third story windows.
Flames flew through the air as an iron stove, fully lit and burning, came crashing down in the middle of Mrossard’s group. Three watchmen were killed and two others were badly burned. An hour of terror passed slowly as they fought for their lives. Seven watchmen were slain by the mob in transit to Feruce Palace. The royal fort was finally reached where hundreds of archers fired volley after volley to keep the masses back. After Mrossard and his men were inside they shut and secured the palace gates.
“King Antef has already fled through the royal tunnels.” Mrossard told Darius as they rushed to prepare the rest of the evacuations from Feruce Palace. “I gave strict orders to only defend if you feel there is hope of victory. Otherwise, retreat to the royal tunnels before we seal them shut.”
“I can’t believe we may have to destroy the tunnel.” Darius said.
“King Antef’s War Mage, Xaeroz, concocted some explosive rune or trap that will detonate in the presence of the enemy. If we don’t retreat while we can we will be trapped on the wrong side of the tunnel when it blows up. This cause isn’t worth your life. Too many have already died as a result of this insanity.”
“The men will fall back before its too late, sir,” said Darius.
“I fear for all our fates. This conflict is already much worse than the War of Asgrahl.” Mrossard had a look of despair. “In a hundred years an enemy has not penetrated our eastern border, the thousand mile expanse was crossed in less time than natural forces require. I have never been surprised before, but today my shock taught me it was our lack of magic that failed us in our preparation.” Darius felt empathic as he listened to Mrossard.
Darius came from Xanzril, where magic was embraced. Feruce was on the verge of banishing the practice and this did seem to be the cause of their downfall at the moment.
“Will you now join King Antef at Eltrakyn? I will gladly accompany you there.” Darius said.
“I’m honored that a knight wishes to ride under a nomad.” They both laughed.
“I am far from a knight.” Darius answered. “I feel I owe the world my best but I still have much to learn. I'm inspired by the ideals and as a knight I will be best served, helping others by defending them and seeking justice in the realm.”

That's all I've got for now. I do, however, want to truly thank everyone that has commented and enjoyed my art and blogs. It really means a lot to me and I feel so blessed and humbled by the experience. I appreciate the love more than I am able to express in words. Have a great week.blushsmile

I keep fucking myself up, looking at old pictures. I have been reflecting on all the negativity that has created the current state of things in my life and it naturally causes me to second guess my decisions. Here's a bit of history if you feel like clicking.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

We met in 1999 and lived together for many years, finally getting married in 2007 because her parents would no longer tolerate us being together without being married. I lived at her parents house with her. She decided she wanted to go to Maui and get married and I did not argue with this.
zoom image
We had fun, sorta, and also fought ferociously and I felt miserable in my life at the time.
zoom image
She was beautiful, though, and no matter how much she has hurt me, I will love her forever. Also I can't stand her.
zoom image
We got back home and bad events just piled on. A year later we went to St John's, VI for our first anniversary. My ex drove an ambulance and her partner for seven years came with us to Maui with her boyfriend. They also loved fighting and drama and broke up in the summer of 2008. He was from Oregon and suddenly picked up and left for a few months. She kept calling and pestering him and he came back. On a whim they decided to go with us on our anniversary trip and get married.
zoom image
Here is my ex-wife taking photos
zoom image
It was only the four of us on the beach that morning and it was chaotic. Within a month of returning home, on a whim they decided to all move to Oregon.
zoom image
This is my bird enjoying the eight hour drive. I went along because what the fuck else could I do.
I was constantly the extra in this group.
zoom image
I had lined up a job and ended up the only one working the entire time we lived together, the four of us. We lasted a year and permanently damaged everything we had built. We were all miserable and started to hate each other. They got divorced, we got divorced and now none of us speak to each other.

I finally feel like I am finding closure with all the bullshit and I am thankful. I discovered how to draw and how to write a song only after coming to Oregon. I will never regret the move north because I don't think I would have ever realized who I truly am, otherwise.

Here are some fun pictures because I really need to stop dwelling on this.

We all love Disney and went to Disneyland and Disneyworld together. Thats it, oh I also like poker

I had the full house, that last ace is just to pile on.
That really is it and I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

THE DIAMOND

Assenieve Silversziene rode his powerful steed through the dark, summer night. His blinding pace ended suddenly as he stopped and quickly dismounted. Using great stealth he circled the camp and found the man he had come to kill.
Assenieve was short for an Ice Hammer; however his small frame supported incredible power. He wore leathers that were reinforced with chain mail. The metal was the lightest alloy, its properties further enhanced by the Karn magical arts that blessed it. He was prepared to unleash war on an unsuspecting thief.
“What the hell am I doing here?” Assenieve thought as he crouched down, lurking in the bushes beyond the campsite of the four men he was tracking.
He crept slowly closer on his belly as they chatted rather loudly deep into the night. They were celebrating and feasting, gorging on fine meats and the strongest spirits. Assenieve waited patiently as their fire died along with their conversation.
“How will I live with myself if I kill again?” Assenieve thought. “How could I turn down eight thousand? I must kill him.”
Armeerja sat just in front of Assenieve. He was a middle aged man and appeared to have more self-control than his companions. While they lay in a drunken stupor, he sat alone by the fire. He had half as much to drink as his grungy friends. Assenieve silently crawled from under the bushes and glanced at the other three men. He did not know who they were; he had only come to kill Armeerja.
Armeerja was tall and lean. He wore an expensive silk shirt and trousers from Feruce. His stature suggested a lack of coordination and resembled a bean pole, however he was deceptively agile. Assenieve had been warned of his cunning and speed but was unconcerned. Now that he saw the skinny crook, his confidence grew. He knew it would be an easy kill.
His companions wore cheap rags and were the type that Armeerja normally did not associate with. Assenieve was unclear whether they were involved with the heist. He didn’t care. The contract was for Armeerja’s head only because he had stolen the Eye of the Karn, a rare diamond, from the Cult of the Blood night. Prince Durkgar had hired Assenieve to kill the thief and bring back the jewel.
Armeerja leisurely reached for a log to strengthen the dwindling fire. As he hunched over, Assenieve took to his feet. In rising, Assenieve alerted Armeerja to his presence. Armeerja turned to face the trespasser and reached for his blade. Before his steel was unsheathed, he felt the sharpness of Assenieve’s sword slide deep into his abdomen. The sword was angled to puncture his lungs as well as rip his guts out. Assenieve jolted the sword back and forth as Armeerja mouthed a scream that he could no longer produce. His guts fell all around him as the sword danced around inside his abdominal cavity. He fell backward and died while Assenieve crouched down and pulled out a large knife from his boot. He cut the disemboweled intestines apart and finally found the merchandise.
Armeerja had swallowed the priceless diamond that was the centerpiece of Prince Durkgar’s collection of artifacts.
“This man is a thief, but did he deserve to die?” Assenieve stood over the dead man and felt slight guilt. “What if this man had a family? But he was a criminal, but so am I. Will this be my fate?” He glanced at the other men as they slept and decided that it was time to get out of there.
Assenieve slipped into the bushes and disappeared. He reached his mount and hurried off toward the palace using Armeerja’s decapitated head to hold the diamond. He felt ill for breaking his word to his old friend but these were hard times. A revolution had destroyed Assenieve's home and his friend, Lord Perigaal, was now dead. He promised he would not murder for profit again and had kept his word until now.
Assenieve left the war torn plains and entered the Angel-Wood Forest. It was there that he had been drawn back to his former profession. He rode till sunrise then let his horse drink and rest. Assenieve rode the entire next day, reaching Durkgar’s palace just before nightfall.
After dismounting, Assenieve tied his horse at the small stables outside the wall surrounding the compound of the Blood-night. He was greeted by a guard he did not recognize but still was waived through with no hassle. The soldiers here wore the finest plate armor that bore the crest of the Cult of the Blood-night. Four other soldiers appeared and eyed the bag that Assenieve carried. They pointed and laughed as they shouted at each other. They knew whose head was in the bag and had no pity. They cracked jokes, trying to get Assenieve’s attention.
Assenieve ignored them and continued down the dirt path. He was well out of range of the soldier’s voices when the road suddenly became cobbled making it appear golden. As he neared the palace, the road took on more beauty. It was wider and very smooth with flowering hedges that displayed an array of exotic colors. He soon reached the palace steps and realized that Prince Durkgar was waiting at the top of the stairs. He walked to meet Assenieve as soon as he saw him.
The prince wore a decorative violet robe that resembled the style worn by the Holy Karn. It was elaborate and glowed with runes that protected its wearer. He was well known to be expelled from the holy city of Aukdale yet still wore his royal robes. He considered his new community a personal holy city and ruled in a manner that resembled the Holy Karn.
The palace behind Prince Durkgar was extravagant. It had a central dome and five towers that represented the five holy stones. The arches and stairways were huge and the ionic columns towered thirty five feet overhead. The colonnade path to the entrance was covered by Ehkara-vine that grew so thick and full across the top and sides of the columns that it had become a living ceiling and walls.
“Oh good, good, I take it we found our man.” Prince Durkgar shook Assenieve’s hand and invited him to his quarters to discuss the completion of the contract.
They walked under the shadowy vines and emerged on the other side to a large, brightly lit main hall. All eight stories could be viewed from this chamber that rose hundreds of feet. Seven circular balconies gave the illusion that they were spinning toward the hole marking the apex of the dome. The sun shone down on them as the two men continued to a stairway near the first tower.
Durkgar lead him to the fifth floor and into his personal quarters. Assenieve approached the table and plopped the sack down, making a horrible squishing sound. He opened the sack as Prince Durkgar looked on in anticipation.
“Yes, now that’s the face of an idiot. I loved him, took him in, I really took care of him, what a piece of shit. Where is the diamond?”
“Well open his mouth.” Assenieve answered impatiently.
“Oh of course, I almost forgot. Thank you.” The prince had instructed him to behead his friend and bring the diamond back in his mouth during a moment of anger. As he looked at Armeerja’s face he almost wished he had not. He pulled the diamond from Armeerja’s mouth, wiped it clean, and gazed through it toward a flickering candlelight.
“You know that the light that shines through this diamond carries immense power. My people harness this power to create wonderful things. It seems now that the corrupt must destroy beauty, steal power for selfish, perverted reasons. Why must we be so savage to one another? Tell me Assenieve, do you feel regret for those you kill?”
“Not unless I don’t get paid.” Assenieve snapped back, losing more of his patience by the second.
“Oh of course, come with me.” The prince took him to the lower vault where he replaced the diamond, inserting it into its decorative, padded case.
“Here,” he said as he tossed a large leather sack of heavy gold coin. “It’s Hawks mixed with a few Wheels, but I’m sure you’ll have no trouble spending them anywhere. Gold is gold.”
“Thanks.” Assenieve shook his hand and walked out of Durkgar’s Palace of the Blood-night.
He felt sick and wished he hadn’t killed regardless of the price. His soul felt stained and now it was time to return home. Lord Sahnkar had won the war for control of the southern Blue Bear Plains. Things would settle down and Assenieve hoped that he could too. The money he just received would last him at least a hundred years on the plains.
