So, I saw Mumford and Sons last night. It was one of the most amazing concerts I've ever been to. They seemed absolutely fucking gleeful on the stage. They played non-stop for 2 hours to a packed 11000 person outdoor parking lot(?) of the LC Pavilion, because they sold out the indoor area, and then sold out the normal outdoor area. They played a bunch of new stuff, and most everything from their first album. At one point, they invited Dawes onstage to help out with a song.







Oh, I also bought a Subaru Outback today.

And a case of Route 11 Chesapeake Crab potato chips. $20 for 30 single serve bags. I intend for it to last me 2 months. We'll see....

I think I may be more excited for my friend getting married than he is...The reception is going to be costume, and I am going as this guy:



I can't wait! He and his wife are going as Gomez and Morticia. It's going to be a whole lotta fun. I've already written most of my speech, and am working on the accent for Bill. The speech is going to be in the style of the Butcher's opening lines in the movie. Fuck, this is going to be great!

I was also in this month's issue of Columbus Monthly (my arm is the tattooed one, clearly) :

honesty is the best policy, especially with yourself. for me, it is impossible to go from lovers to friends. i can't do it. friends to lovers, sure. but not backwards.

It is far better to just be friends than nothing at all.
