After this week, the time has come for me to explore other avenues of employment. I don't think I can work as a butcher any longer. I'm simply tired of cutting up dead animals for a living. I want to do something that matters. I like that I work for a small business, that everything is grown 40 miles from the market, and my bosses are nice enough. I feel very burned out. I sent a letter of inquiry to a local dairy. Hopefully I can get to a place I feel more at peace.
