So we are in Dubai now .. the place is stinking bloody hot (yay for freezing cold air con!), but it's amazing.. from what I saw last night on the 16 lane motorway, if they can't build through things they just build over them.. the infrastructure is incredible! Today we are off to Mall of Emirates then tomorrow I am having a two and a half hour body treatment, I can't wait!

3 sleeps til I am home.. I can't wait to be back in my own bed again

So only a few more days to go in safari Africa...Right now I'm listening to the soft trickle of running water in the Mara river, just 10m from my tent, with hippos grunting and splashing about just a few metres upstream... lucky our last few days is in the Maasai Mara,which holds pretty much Africa's richest animal population Then we move onto Mombasa and Lamu for 3 nights, back to Nairobi then onto Dubai, which I am not really looking forward to... it's gonna be sooo hot *cries* Oh well, another experience. Plus, I have enough money to afford non stop massages in the hotel, heehee

So far the trip has well and truly surpassed any expectations I had times a million, and I am having the time of my life and doing my best to take in and enjoy every single moment..but you know how it is... I just can't wait to be home.. in my comfy bed... with my boy... and my friends (not in my bed though, haha)... There is no place like home...

Wow.. if only words could explain how amazing this all is... Tonight we are staying in a lodge overlooking Ngorongoro Crater... it was so incredible I cried... Have taken over 2000 photos already, I might have a short chance tomorrow to resize them to posting size...

So far we have seen elephants (lots and lots), zebras (lots and lots), giraffes, impala, waterbuck, a leopard (he was beautiful), hippopotomouths and lions from a distance, plus heaps of other stuff... and we are only 4 days in!!

This experience is incredible....

I feel like I am in my element.. I feel alive... everything is perfect, although would bemore perfect if I had someone to share it all with.. oh well.. maybe another time.
