I want my sleeve and a half, damnit.
I also want to become proficient with a firearm, learn ASL and Spanish, master photoshop, become an SG and legit SG photographer in the glorious tradition of AlissaBrunelli, travel to Prague, Israel, Ireland, Eqypt, Australia, Japan, Spain, and a dozen other places with a man that I love (Travel is better with the possibility of sex with someone you're utterly confident doesn't have STDs or murderous intent). I want to reward myself for earning a Masters in Social Work with glorious fake tits and I want to spawn a half dozen dark haired children one day in the huge house on the land that I own with a man that makes me as happy and content as I make him.
Really, its not so much to ask.

Nursery Rhymes!

In marble walls as white as milk,
Lined with skin as soft as silk;
Within a fountain crystal clear,
A golden apple doth appear.
No doors there are to this stronghold --
Yet thieves break in and steal the gold.

Its a riddle, the answer is pretty typical but I LOVE it! I have a thing for lovely riddles like this..
P.S.
Its an Egg.

In Spring I look gay,
Decked in comely array,
In Summer more clothing I wear;
When colder it grows,
I fling off my clothes,
And in Winter quite naked appear.

Another riddle, the answer of which wasn't listed. I think its a tree. If anyone knows better, feel free to correct me?

I love rhymes that pertain to curls because when my hair is shorter than it is now, its crazy curled. Its getting weighed down to wavy now, but this is the longest it's ever been. I've been a curly haired girl my whole life.

Curly Locks, Curly Locks,
Will you be mine?
You shall not wash dishes,
Nor feed the swine,
But sit on a cushion
And sew a fine seam,
And sup upon strawberries,
Sugar, and cream.

And this one that I've heard a few times from other people;

There was a little girl,
Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
When she was good,
She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

I've been thinking of getting a nursery rhyme tattoo.. I just think they're really interesting, simple, and often have historical subtext.

I just find this really sweet;

Come to the window,
My baby, with me,
And look at the stars
That shine on the sea!
There are two little stars
That play bo-peep
With two little fish
Far down in the deep;
And two little frogs
Cry "Neap, neap, neap;"
I see a dear baby
That should be asleep.

Take this time to figure it out
Know the wire, the fuse, the things that you doubt
The wheels, the air, the metal, the mouth
Something, something, something
I have been good
I understood

Its been a confusing few weeks.
Not even the sort of thing I'd like to talk about, just move on from.
The guy living with my family is pissing me off pretty regularly.
Excited for school to start at the end of August.

In LOVE with my new bike, Vera.

And finally, a new photo of me.

So I was supposed to spend today making an amazing turkey meatloaf for my loving boyfriend, but instead I went balls to the wall on vanity. I'm still unemployed, but my mom took me out clothes shopping. 1 pair of jeans, a black and red dress, black leggings, a pair of super comfy dark gray sweatpants, and 2 tank tops. The tank tops are crazy rack flattering, and I've been meaning to take more photos of my tattoos because I guess I don't have very many clear images, and not one that wasn't taken on a webcam, and thats how it started.

Something about this, I don't know if its the pose or the top or the angle, makes my boobs look sloppy huge. Like the kind of giant, unwieldy breasts that young males insist on drawing on anime women. Like they can't possibly be contained, and swing about when I move or breathe or try to participate in sporting activities.
Or maybe thats just me.

Some others, trying to capture my tattoo in its full epicness.

Get my drink on, and my smoke on
then go home with, something to poke on.

Photography, cooking, reading, writing, editing. All of these are things that I do.
I still don't have a job. The process of trying to find one is wracking my nerves, but not as badly as the idea of starting school again with absolutely no money.
In the meantime, I've been entertaining myself other ways. I forgot how much work writing really is. I've got a few new short stories, one half assed but not too bad poem under my belt, and I've started a novel. Yes, a novel. I don't know where its going to end up, but I'm excited to find out. I've got a few really interesting characters and a plot with some real potential.
I keep sitting down and trying my damnedest to focus on this manual for the new photo editing software my brother got me, but I keep flaking out. I guess its what I'm putting off doing instead of homework this summer.
I've been recruited to make dinner for 14 people for my sister's graduation party on Saturday because my mom decided last minute that going to a restaurant would be too expensive for everyone. I don't even like that sister. She and I aren't on speaking terms. But I've been so bored and aimless recently that I took the job. It will involve some heavy house cleaning as well, which I guess I can handle this week. I'm thinking of making this amazing vegetarian casserole that my cousin brings to holidays, several dozen pounds of fresh salmon cooked with butter, chives and lemon, a huge caesar salad, 4 loaves of garlic bread, and maybe another side dish. Possibly even just real, garlicky mashed potatoes. All easy to make in huge quantities and without toooo much prep work.
Tomorrow I meet Grant's cousin who has a new baby and his grandmother.
Friday I meet his father and hang out with his brother and brother's gf.
Wednesday and Thursday I guess I clean the house, grocery shop, and plan.
This is shaping up to be a much more interesting week than I had originally thought it would be.

Alright.
Tonight marks the end of my week and a half long term over celebration.
An A in Psychology and C in Psych and Film are all well and good, but I still don't know my grade in English 1A and the school website is down for a week. I'm almost positive I got no less than a B.
Party over. I already started applying for jobs on Monday.
It finally dawned on me that I could get a job doing something I WANT TO DO instead of just what I know (cafes, Starbucks in particular) and so I applied at all the local photography studios that provide on the job training.
One or two actually sounded interested.
I'm jumping out of my skin hoping they'll call.
I would do almost anything to ensure a job with photography.
I'll scrub the studio. I'll walk your dog. Just teach me everything you know and let me take some photos and you can put me to work in the mines the rest of the shift, I don't care.
I know I would be an amazing employee because I would get to take pride in my work.
No longer selling coffee. >.<
I tried to communicate this to two of the managers without sounding *too* crazy.
I'm ok with sounding a little crazy, as long as I sound capable and enthusiastic at the same time.
Just give me a job. Give me hours. Train me thoroughly, then set me free and I swear I will dazzle you.

P.s.
Need to start going back to the gym.
I let it slip away during school chaos..
But I need to get it back in my grips.
Oddly, I fell lax on the gym, I've been eating nothing but crap (and cooking these huge elaborate dinners for myself and friends recently) but I'm feeling very good about my body recently.
Probably his fault.

Come to bed with me.
And my sadistic fucking cat.

zoom image
It begins on my shoulder, inching her way up from my back where she often sleeps. That, or my chest if I'm sleeping on my back.

Sometimes however, on cold nights, she crawls under the blankets with me and kneads whatever she can get her paws into. It seems to me that she seeks out tender flesh. The underside of my arm, my stomach and chest are popular targets.

There you have it. THE DEVIL.

A couple of new photo edits. Yay! Procrastination!

This is pretty obviously flawed, but I still like it.
