When you say auditions do you mean you're auditioning for something, or people are coming to you to audition?

Today I was suditionning as an actress, however, we also periodically hold auditions for our projects and then I sit behind the table as a producer. Or hold sessions on the casting couch.**

I really love doing both- acting is the most fun thing in the world for me.

I don't know if anyone else has told you but normally you should comment in other people's journals rather than your own.

Up until the *just kidding* I was about to ask if I could get one of those auditions on the couch. I feel so midlead.

Awww, I was just joking about the acting thing, but I think you made me smile reading your response... no, wait... *checks* Yeah, I'm smiling, see?

The name is kind of hard to explain. In fact, it's been so long since I thought about the 'why' that I can't seem to find the right words anymore. Plus, it doesn't really make sense to anyone but me, but I'll try to explain anyway.
Thing is, quite a few years ago, I started numbering everything I did that I considered creative. Writings, drawings, even a mixed tape or cd that meant something to me earned a number as I was trying to keep track of myself through my creations, if you will. So later on I'd be able to look back and take any series of 5-10 things I'd done and remember exactly what was going on at that point in my life. (my memory isn't that great for some reason, and I like holding onto things that remind me of where I've been and what I've done) But, over the course of moving so much and things being lost, stolen, or given away, I've kind of lost track of where I was with the numbering, and most of what I've done has disappeared. But, the point of the 605 was that I just kept... feeling, for lack of better word, that the 605th project I'd work on would be something special in some way. Not sure how, like perhaps it'd be the last one I did before I died, or maybe it'd be the one to make me famous, but most likely somewhere inbetween those two. So as a reminder, I started using that as my alias everywhere so it'd kind of push me towards it. And that's why I'm so excited that I'm painting again and creating things again, because the more I do, the sooner I'll find out if I was right.

I hope that made sense. Like I said, it's a bit weird, but somewhere in my head it works.
