Sorry for the lack of updates my friends. SG just isn't really the place I enjoy spending most of my time right now. I have so many other social outlets that it is hard to manage the smaller ones like this site. But as for a quick update - I am continuing to build my web design skills in hopes to progress into a user experience (UX) or user interface design position at one of the large companies here in SF. We will see how that goes. Other than that I am enjoying the time I get to spend with my beautiful girlfriend, my amazing friends, the concerts and events I get to attend, and just simply RELAXING. Life continues to be good in my world as I hope it is good in yours.
If you do want to keep up on what is going on in my life (and share what is going on in yours check out my Flavors.me account which links to all of my social networks. Shoot me a quick response in this post if you want me to add you somewhere in one of those networks so we can keep in touch more frequently.
My favorite social networking "outlet" at the moment (besides twitter) is my Tumblr account. You can see a bunch of my web/graphic design inspiration as well as listen to some of the music I have been enjoying over the weeks. Just redesigned it a bit and like what it has progressed to look like.

Thanks for stopping by and talk to you all soon,
JP
Seriously good. Really good. Perfectly good.

If you really want to see what I am up to... http://flavors.me/zamn

My ride to Ocean Beaches last weekend; watched the sunset.
I live in one of the most beautiful places in the United States. Bought another new bike last week, she is going to need a name though. Any ideas?! She is a beauty!

Can't wait for it to get a bit warmer in the bay. Then my weekend rides will include trips to Sausalito. But for now, the trips down to the beach will definitely suffice.
iPhone video I threw together with some music from the band Barcelona - You Will Pull Through
Also saw the band Barcelona play at Slims last week. They were incredible live. Looking forward to more concerts this year. Was a bummer I couldn't make it to SXSW with a bunch of friends but am planning on it next year for sure!
In other news:
- SG Prom is coming up and I think I have an amazing costume idea for this year's SciFi theme:
- Wondercon is ALSO coming up and tickets have been purchased... see some of you there.
- Debating on grabbing meet and greet tickets to Conan O'Brien's SF show.
- Have the most AMAZING new dentist (http://sfgreendentist.com/) and Nammy is smoking hot (can't help it).
- Continuing to build up my HTML/CSS/Javascript knowledge. Should come in handy soon!
Alright, that is enough from me for today. Sorry I rarely update this anymore, life is keeping me busy. But if you want to keep up on what I am doing throughout the week just jump to my Flavors.me page and you can see all of my social networking streams. Enjoy!

Had surgery this week (minor) and have been laughing about how I handled the drugs they gave me to knock me out. They had a LONG system running time so I was out of it for a few days. Here are some of my drugged up moments:

Seriously, I can't complain about my life right now. Yeah, shit happens, life gets tense, issues occur and some never seem to quite get resolved but all in all...
I am truly living a good life.
It's been a long time since I have updated this journal. Twitter seems to be my sharing point, so always feel free to jump over there and see what is up with me. I'll give you a short overview of the time since we last spoke (as well as some thoughts that have come across my mind in that time as well):
1) It has almost been a year of me living here in San Francisco. It's been a pretty epic one at that. Tons of restaurants, events, people, museums, the Academy of Science, parks, and so on. Love, love, love it.
2) Saw City and Colour at the Fillmore and it was amazing. I felt like we had the best seats in the house with our balcony table (drinks + food + great music = WIN). Here is a quick video clip I took with my iPhone while he played a new unreleased track.
3) Had a good Valentines Day. Did quite a bit of stuff including horseback riding for a while in Sonoma Valley. Great sushi at Nara to end the night. Good times.
4) Tickets acquired for many events, including (but not limited to) Wondercon, a special pre-screening of Hottub Time Machine, and some epic concerts coming up.
5) Love my friends and my roomies. Seriously some of the greatest people I know are minutes away from me in all directions. It's incredible.
And so so much more...
Well, its time to run... enjoy some of my music from the last month or so. And fill me in on whats new with all of you in SGland.
...Yes I have been enjoying Die Antwoord. HOW CAN YOU NOT?!!!
Stu...stu...STUDDA!
If you want my consistent music feed then check out my Blip.FM.
For images, etc always feel free to check out my Tumblr.
And lastly, feel free to ask me anything you want at Formspring.me (yeah I know, I am a social network whore).
Talk to you all soon,

Normal Contemplation

"Tiger" Contemplation (aka "the world is mine'...OR I just happened to look away from the camera at the time
Okay enough with the cheesy tiger references (it is the chinese zodiac for this year), but it does tie in well with my goals and resolutions for this new year. This year will be my year...
...my year of accomplishment. Taking life by the horns and not holding back. I've realized that the same strength I use to "just get through" some of the toughest situations anyone would ever have to deal with can also be used to tear the shit out of accomplishing other goals I may have. And here are just some of the "safe" and abbreviated ones for the year:
The rest are ways to reinvest in understanding my strengths and weaknesses as an individual and build upon those in EVERY aspect of life.
Here is a GREAT example of what I am talking about (and ties in well with my theme
So there you have it, my focus for the next year.
How about you? Any focus or resolutions you might have this year? Everyone is different and some get nothing from making lists and trying to stick to them, for others it will work for a period of time and then falls by the wayside. Whatever/whoever you may be, I hope you have an amazing and happy new year.
JP

Happy Holidays Everyone!
Any big New Years Eve plans or resolutions?

First day in Portland/Vancouver - MUST HAVE BURGERVILLE!...

First Thanksgiving dinner with a large portion of the family...
Second Thanksgiving dinner with the rest of the family...

Met Leo (Leonitus) the Great Dane (my cousin's new dog)...

Day after Thanksgiving - Had to get the 13 ft christmas tree up in my sister's house...

Next Day - I TURNED 30! Love it. Had some fun; grabbed Moonstruck Chocolates later that night...

Hung out with the fam for the last few days I was in town. Hit the airport super excited to get back to San Fran! But first, HAD to stop at Gustav's and enjoy some schnitzel and fondue while waiting for my plane...

Woo... So exciting huh?!
OK, off to get some rest before the roomies and I go grab our Christmas tree and prep for our epicly hilarious roomie christmas card photoshoot. Will leave you with a little music from my week, like always:
