I don't pay attention to the sets that much. I'm all about the MYSG feed and groups.

im glad you are interested in possibly doing some art for my cloud 9 association.

I am still working on the details myself so bear with me

Basically what I am looking for is any type of artwork that that fits the cloud 9 assn. ideals which are pretty broad

Right now it is me and two of my friends who are staff members (me the owner, my friend monica who already designed some shirts, and my friend Kay who is going to be the editor)

So now what I need to get the ball rolling more is some artist that we could "sponsors". Now we don't have any money so what we would do is show off whatever artwork you make for the association and if you have other work we would advertise that for you. Once you do the artwork you have no other commitments to cloud 9. Of course I would love for artist to stay involved and may call on them to do work for other artistic projects the association may try to do.

I plan to have hundreds of artist as "members" of the association, and just continue to grow.

I would hope that artist would spread the word to their friends to join and then it would just be like one big artist community (but again we would only want art that fits with the cloud 9 assn ideals) RIght now everything will be done through the web but I plan to grow and someday have a physical building and also have events and fundraisers. Also once I have a real website and/or building I would like to sell the artwork that is submitted to cloud 9 and all pricing would be negotiated with the artist.

Everything we do would be in support of the arts and creative and innovative thinking. Trying to push people to use their creativity rather then accept whatever they happen to be exposed to. To encourage people to keep elevating their mind and express intelligent thought.

If seriously interested I would ask the artist (you) I few brief questions to get make sure you are someone we want representing us and ask what your idea is. Also I would like to see some samples of any other art the artist has done to make sure it is quality. If i like your answers and can see you have some talent then your pretty much in.

Being one of the first artist I know could be difficult to figure out exactly what im looking for but I'm not going to be a snob. My goal is to encourage art so im not going to toss people aside unless its for a very legit reason.

Also in the future as Cloud 9 Assn. gets a reputation I would advertise freelance designing to paying customers. They could go through and check out the different artist and pick which ones they would like to work on whatever project and then I would contact those artist to see if they are interested in the job.

These are all big broad ideas and I have a lot of details to figure out but for now im trying to keep it simple and would just like to get some more artist involved. I also will try to send you cloud 9 stickers and tshirts so you can help represent.
