Shut down the rental business! It was going well but the overworked part of me won! I now have at least one day off a week! Sweeet...

Thanksgiving was really nice. This year we "kids" kicked the moms out of the kitchen and took care of the whole thing... including the clean up of course! The food was awesome... we had one deep fried turkey, one baked turkey, one vegetarian turkey (VegUSA makes the only good one IMHO) and all the sides... yum!

Between now and mid January we have a lot of plans...

The 12th will see us in Ferndale CA for their Victorian celebration.
The 20th we'll be at the Dickens Faire in S.F.
Just before Christmas we'll head to S.Cal (and yes, we'll go to Disneyland...) to visit family/friends.
The 25th will see us in Palm Springs.
Then in mid January we are planning on going to New Orleans...

If we can we will also try to go to ride the Holiday Steam Trains in Felton.

In other news: Today a vehicle that I've been wanting to have in inventory for a long time has finally arrived! It's a 2004 VW Touareg V10 TDI (fully loaded). It only has 45K on it, not bad for a 5 year old car. I hope it sells quickly but I also would like to have it for the S.Cal road trip... dilemma.

I'm still waiting for a shipper to deliver my 2007 GSXR750. That's taking for fucking ever...

Lastly, the girl and I would like to move. Not far away, just into something different (quieter). That's a tough thing though as both of my business's are based in this unit and moving them is tricky. Plus I don't think we can afford to move just yet.

Been awhile since I've updated...

So, as usual, I'm super busy. Too busy really, it's wearing me out. I've come to the conclusion that I have too many things going on workwise and need to get rid of at least one of my small business's before I snap.

As it is now I'm just spread too thin so there are always way too many things to do... I've certainly discovered my weakness concerning my ability to keep on top of the paperwork that these jobs generate... I'm so far behind at this point I'm not sure what to do.

What I need is a business partner or at the least a part time admin to come in once a week and get me sorted properly. A business partner would be the better choice but that's a whole other thing to think about.

In other news...

The wedding plans are coming along nicely thanks to the hard work of Noelani. It looks like we now have the location for the reception as well as the ceremony. Looking forward to that!

I'm working on our honeymoon plans, it's a good thing we have plenty of time before that.

Playa Del Carmen!

Holy crap it's nice here... staying at my first all inclusive resort. Got a sunburn of course...

This place we're staying at is pretty damn nice. Our section has a private bar (premium booze), pool, beach area with "service" and of course several restaurants and buffets.

Tonight we went to a bar called Alux. It's a bar and restaurant in a cavern... very warm and moist inside but definitely worth doing. We only had drinks there.

I love the way my skin feels in places like this. I mean, aside from the sunburn... all the humidity means not really needing lotion. Sweet!

I miss my Rats and Dogs though...
