Very unproductive. I'm at my mum's house alone, home for spring break, kinda just sitting and doing nothing. Enjoying not having ten roommates for once. Until they all crash here on Thursday. So for now being a lazy unproductive blob.
I'm pretty close to finishing this dress I've been working on. It's like blue with skulls and roses. It's gonna be a 50s style halter dress, very exciting. Then I'm gonna start on a shirt, then shorts for my friends birthday, then another leopard dress. Whew. Why do I only like to sew when i should be doing other stuff? I have a whole week off and I just want to veg out. C'est lame. I'll post pictures of the dress when I'm done.
I'm going to the California Young Democrats Convention starting thursday. If any of you other dorks are gonna be there. I think my lover Bill Clinton is gonna be there but I hope that Obama and Hilary are too. I gotta find a job that pays, pronto. I got a couple of good offers for this summer but I still can't decide. One's for 300-500 a week but I can't do it from Davis (which could be a good thing). I was thinking about working in Portland for the summer, just to get away. Maybe Chicago. Chicago is my fantasy run away place. I've never been there but I always think, one day I just might. It used to be Omaha but Chicago seems more likely. My other option is to stick with my internship and maybe start to get paid over the summer, plus get a job in the law library on campus, and maybe take some classes. Though I'd have to find a place to live. I don't know. I don't want to go home tho, that's for sure. And I want time off for Comicon.
