Today i have taken a day off and i'm spending it drinking my way though a case of TIGER and it tastes subtly different to the stuff you get in a bar though as it tastes quite a bit smoother if that makes any sense. Probably not, neither will any of the following:
I'm also watching the 3rd Volume of Ghost in the Shell SAC 2nd GIG and messing about with some new software such as Menuet which is a fantastic little shareware app which adds a range of shortcut keys to iTunes as well as a funky drop down window from the menu bar among other things. Then there is Quinn which is free and is basically Tetris + Mac OS X = UI GORGEOUSNESS, if you're a Mac user pick that one up as it has some really cool extra features. ATIccelerator II is as it says, "on the fly over-clocking for Mac OS X" or rather more specifically "on the fly over-clocking for ATI graphic cards for Mac OS X" - quite useful for getting some extra juice out of your hardware and after playing with Sim City 4 prior to and then after enabling the software i can say it makes some difference, nothing huge but it does speed things up which will be beneficial in the future for games such as WOW: Burning Crusade... also since I have an Xbox 360 with me for the weekend i have been trying out Connect 360 which basically does what Windows Media Centre does but for Mac OS X i.e. it enables you to play your iTunes library, your movie folders contents and your iPhoto library though an Xbox 360 - it works well but i am not 100% convinced by the console just yet although Xbox Live Marketplace is a lot of fun, hopefully Nintendo can put something like that together for the Wii with it's online capabilities - we already know we'll be getting our mits on Nintendo's back catalogue!
Anyway, enough crap for today... i'm doing my rounds around sites i usually visit a lot but haven't had the chance in a while.
