So of course I'm freaking out when I hear this, so I call my mom, she doesn't answer, I call her again no answer my roomie is working so not picking up phone. Finally get someone all I want is to be consoled & to be told my anger is justifiable. Which starts off as consoling then goes into I know how you feel.... Really you fucking know how I feel? this situation happened to you? Really??? So that is my rant... Yes I'm still fucking pissed and feel impotent in my rage being that I can't do anything until she comes back from India!

That is really a massive pain and annoyance you have to deal with. The school really messed up with this one - they really should have said something to you or done something to alert you.
You do have all the documentation to back yourself up which is the most important thing. This is most likely an oversight on the part of the professor or whoever entered the grade, but it's a major pain in the ass that you have to wait over a month to get it fixed. You are justifiably really pissed off at this situation.
I once ended up with a grade of "no grade" on my transcript. The irony of it all was that I saw it posted after one of the TA's emailed me saying that the professor was proud of me for having the highest final average in the class. It was purely an oversight by the person who submitted the grades and was straightforward to get fixed but definitely a WTF moment.
