i could easily describe today as a train wreck. but at least i'm laughing. i failed at making home mayo since i ran out of mayo for a potato salad i wanted to eat, i figured as much using olive oil. also, rendered the potatoes and ingredients useless for a soup instead of salad, when i added the boiled eggs into the mix.
i ruined a shirt i was making, but accidentally cutting something off it.
i gave up and made pizza, and had another cup of tea. now i need to figure out whether i keep this a cropped tank, or turn it into a dress. i don't feel like making patterns right now. but i should. i hate when i feel lazy. so so lazy.... should've gone up north if i wasn't going to accomplish anything. i want to go skating but my bf appears to need new skates since his are hurting him. :/. too late to go skiing. and i burned my mouth on pizza.

i just find albums need multiple listening to fully appreciate their genius. i often find i get super hyped for new albums, hear them and then feel disappointed, but with much more and more listens, i start finding more things i love about them. i'm really excited for sempiternal by bmth. sorry. i am. they've just evolved so much as a band, i'm curious. and i really liked the last album ,though many didn't approve, given how it was somewhat drastic from their prior albums.

as for my weekend, well, today was my birthday. and it was somewhat of a bust. everyone kind of bailed this weekend, so i'm a little bummed. and to boot, my bf got into a lovely fist fight with his youngest brother. so we spent the evening at the cottage with jims friends, and then went to the pub hungover as shit today to watch the game. im a little disappointed as i said in my friends... some of the better ones are making it up to me no doubt. and despite the rough housing, my boyfriends been great all weekend. and promised me comic books
my mom made coconut cupcakes that are pretty amazing, and gave me some moulah. good ol moma.
time to continue making a harder effort at changing mistakes.
